I think this game will really show whether Muss can right the ship. Before the Griz debacle I would give UND the edge since McGhee is out. After the Griz game I think Muss is probably one of those guys that is a decent coordinator or position coach, but not Head Coach material. After the kitties bought out NDSU, I would like to see UND put the spank on them. I am afraid MSU will win by better than 2 TDs. On this game, I will be pulling for UND.

I agree 100% with #1. If the economic change so it is in NDSU's interest to do a home and home, the deal would get done. If UND wants to play so bad, why not offer a 1 game deal to play in Fargo. That might get done.

It would be interesting, but you don't know for sure from one year to the next who it could be. If the AQ FBS conferences push to not schedule FCS games, it will get a lot tougher to get such a match.

Montana State was on ESPNPlan. I think it is worth getting GamePlan to watch some of the interesting FCS games. Unfortunately many are not in HD, but it does let you see some upcoming opponents. On DirecTV I get both the Sportspak and GamePlan. Ms. Wyo bitches a little, but then we discuss how much some people spend on things like scrapbooking......she calms down pretty quick. By the way MSU is really missing McGhee.

Faison has a whole lot more to worry about than playing NDSU right now. When the economics make sense for both schools it will possibly happen.....but that likely won't be for a while. NDSUU is not going to give up a home gate to play in GF.

Yes, Bob Babich was awful for the NDSU program. Bohl really had to start from the beginning.

A team really doesn't gain anything by firing a coach mid season. What is to be gained by having an interim coach that likely will be dumped too? No doubt your program is in trouble and there seem to be significant issues with Mussman. But, what advantage is to be gained by a mid-season termination? You are going to wind up paying him anyway and right now no coaches are really on the market looking.

I gotta say, I am stunned at this. Your AD needs to be asking some pretty tough questions of Muss right now.

I wonder how much the SBOHE vs the Legislature turmoil has hurt this? It sure as heck is not a positive thing for any school in the system.

I would actually pick UND for this one. Muss made the right choice with Mollberg and the kid will want to prove his worth. The team will want this very bad in front of a home crowd that will stay for the entire game (because it is Montana). Montana is not as tough as SDSU and will struggle with a pissed off UND team. I suspect a tight game, but UND by 2 TDs would not surprise me either. --And this pick pains me as I would like to see the Griz thump UND.........

That is the whole point of the board.....for fans to vent and pontificate. Hell, when the Bison were down I thought Vigen ought to be fired and Bohl put on a short chain. Good damn thing I have nothing to say about coaching either....but.....I will always have an opinion on it....

I would think after last week it would have to be Mollberg. You have to pick a horse and ride. Mollberg deserves it after last week.

I know that us Bison fans like to tease you guys over Muss and his "playing close", but if SDSU barely eeks out a win, FCS fans will take note. I would expect SDSU to control most aspects of the game. I am looking forward to watching this on Directv as it is a pretty interesting match up.

I have a home theater system set up in my basement bar/sports and movie area. The best luck for me is running the HDMI through the receiver and from there the receiver goes to the TV via HDMI. As long as you have a decent feed it is not much different than watching TV other than the pain of hooking it up. Also make sure when playing to the TV you have your screen resolution correctly set.

Who knows who will win what this year. The Bison should win the MVC, but there is a lot of football to be played and no one knows what will happen injury wise this season. Play the game and don't waste time worrying about how NDSU matches up with the rest of the BCS......matching up with theFCS is what matters now.
