Brian Lee just helped the Devils score a goal. Give that boy an assist. Edit: Parise is filthy dirty . . . awesome assist on the Devils 3rd goal . . . I'll post the highlight when nhl.com puts it up.

Lots of cheap shots this year in college hockey. BC's goon Petrecki got a game DQ for head butting a Maine player this afternoon. I think that's his second DQ this season. I also heard the injured Michigan player's father tried to go after the MSU players in their locker room.

nhl.com front page has a quick interview with Parise about competing in the fastest skater contest, as well as a short article about the rest of the players in the field.

My favorite part of Gerbe's stint in the NHL was watching Parise and Jamie Langenbrunner double team him and lay him out on the blueline as he tried to carry the puck out of the zone. He left the game injured, sat out for the next week, then got sent back down. He also got run to the ditch by Brian Gionta. No offense to any Gerbe fans but it's nice to see him get his after all the crap he pulled in the NCAA.

Parise tried to pass to Zajac and a Habs dman put it in for him. 28 for Zach.

Travis Zajac just cashed in on Carey Price. The price is wrong, *****. Parise with the primary assist. That's 15 goals for Zajac on the year. Parise and Zajac combined for an incredible shift in the waning seconds of the 2nd period. They take my breath away sometimes. Their ability to rush and backcheck is incredible.

Yes indeed. Zajac's was his 14th of the year . . . he had 14 all of last season. Parise's was his 26th of the year, putting him 4 goals (I think) off the league lead. He also assisted on Travis' goal, so I believe he's up to 52 points on the season.

I thought the dis was he talked in his sleep. And he never paid for food. Greene just checked Parise, then took a penalty. They had some words. Now, Greene just laid out Zach, but the Devils scored on the play anyway. Zajac with an assist.

Parise and Zajac vs. Matt Greene's LA Kings tonight. Parise and Greener were roommates at UND, no? Zajac with a PP Goal in the first, tipped a shot from the point. Zach scores his 100th career goal in the 2nd to give the Devs a 3 - 0 lead.

Zach's Mom was so excited, but his Dad quickly reminded him that he needs 2 more appearances to top him. Perhaps Zach will earn another plastic star trophy at this game. Zajac just hit Zach in the head with a puck during the game vs. Atl. He's okay though.

I heard they're doing it Beanpot style ie OT til someone wins. If that's the case Gophers will win, 'cause NU doesn't win the Beanpot.

He didn't throw anything. The slovaks were celebrating in front of the US bench (that's klassy, yes with a k) and one of their sticks came flying into the bench so he pushed it back out of his face. Should have played Unice, couldn't be any worse.

Devs with a 5 - 1 win over the Sens tonight. Right now, stats show: Parise with a 4 assist night. Zajac with a goal and an assist. They've been reviewing things so that might change. I know the fifth goal was originally awarded to Parise, then changed to Zajac, but I actually think it was Langenbrunner's . . . and the post game has Zach as only getting 3 assists, but that could be a mistake.

I saw this little factoid on hfboards, and I just had to mention it here. Parise is 5th in the NHL in pts/game. The four people ahead of him? . . . Malkin, Semin, Crosby, Ovechkin. That's pretty amazing. If he keeps it up, he's on pace for a 104 point season. Hopefully, he'll get at least 80; that's not too much to ask.

Update on Zajac from Zajac: Not injured He's got a fat lip from his fight and they kept him out as a precautionary measure. Didn't want to rip open his stitches. He'll play tomorrow night. Update on Zajac from Coach Sutter: We don't know if he'll be able to go tomorrow. We'll see what he's like tomorrow.

Yup, but I'm not too fond of the score as of now. Parise also missed on a breakaway, lost the puck as he took it to the backhand and it squibbed wide. Wait, Devils take the lead, but no Sioux involved on the goal. Zajac appears to be injured. Now, Parise has four assists.

Okay, I see what you're talking about. I believe if you haven't registered for this season you have to do it again. I'm already registered so I made up a new account to see if I had problems. If you have just registered, while you're still on the last page of the registration process that confirms your log in, click on the launch media player link towards the right hand corner and that will open the player for you. When I directed back to the main page and tried to access the audio, I had that prompt that told me I needed premium access, but if you used that "launch media player" link it should work.
