  1. That is correct . . . last thing BU needed was another freaking tie. Trust me, BU fans are just as frustrated as Sioux fans . . . so I'm really freaking frustrated.
  2. Well he's got team mates named Glass and Swallow(s) . . . who knows
  3. As a BU student, I'm looking forward to a rematch of the '05 regional . . . maybe some revenge, there are a few guys on the team in particular I know are hoping for this match up tomorrow. As a Sioux fan, I say Dartmouth shouldn't pose a problem. Well, I hope anyway. Like the Sioux, their D is a problem, decimated by injury, but they may get Lovejoy back for the tourney and that may spark them. I'd expect them to play Devine in goal, though he was particularly sieve-like in their last loss to Harvard. Sioux have the Oshie, and thus I give them the edge . . . Any ideas who's b/w the pipes for the Sioux?
  4. No, I wasn't paying attention to what I typed; I meant Zajac influenced Winnett and is used as a comparison to Nash
  5. Well, if you wanna try: Box office # - 603-646-2466 SRO left only, $7 each plus a processing fee, covers both games for that day.
  6. Pierre McGuire interview w./ the "Pride of North Dakota" link If anyone's wondering why Parise cracks up a couple minutes into it, if you listen carefully you can hear some of the Devils making fun of them, specifically Scott Gomez who says "that's the cutest thing I've ever seen . . . that could be a Christmas card."
  7. HF article from today about Riley Nash Mentions Travis Zajac and his family as instrumental in choosing to play for Salmon Arm . . . maybe the Zajacs will convince him to go UND as well
  8. a live web feed . . . just click this link and hit the watch live link . . . sometimes it doesn't work but since it's being shown on all Comcast stations and not just the NE feed there shouldn't be a problem The announcers might be a little BU biased b/c we have a TV deal with them; the degree of homerism varies depending on which guys they use
  9. How Parise and Zajac spent their Christmas: "Zach Parise and Zajac spent Christmas with linemate Jamie Langenbrunner and his family, and Parise, who has 14 goals, came up worse for wear. Playing street hockey with the kids, Parise's nose was bloodied by Langenbrunner's son" Also, an article on the Dynamic Duo
  10. All games will be on the Comcast Network They have a live web feed, but it doesn't work all the time Here's the link, it's worth a shot
  11. The Lowell Devils held a Skate with the Team night . . . A picture of JPar with a fan He's big with the ladies down here Well, I hope that's a girl
  12. Excerpts about NJ's Sioux Two today Parise = Most Improved Zajac = Biggest Surprise And some random pictures of Zach and Travis I took in the link below, they're pretty blurry though, stupid camera photos
  13. I was at the Bruins - Devils game . . . Zajac played very well, Hale was solid, and Parise attempted to fight former BC defenseman Andrew Alberts. Alberts was really taking him hard to the boards the first two periods, and in the third Zach finally took exception; he was all riled up. I'll post some pictures from the pregame skate later.
  14. Zach Parise Article Zach's featured in Linda Cohn's weekly column
  15. One arrest has been made today, and there should be more to come Here's a link Thanks again for all the well wishes for the guys, I'll be sure to pass along the sentiments.
  16. I talked with Curry today after practice. He was in full gear and took part. His face is much improved on what it looked just prior, but he doesn't know if he'll play Friday. I didn't keep him long since I had to go to a basketball game, but he was in good spirits. Schaeffer's eye is still swollen shut, so he still doesn't know if he'll need surgery yet. Sullivan I haven't seen, but our backup goalie's face is a little messed up as well. I wouldn't bet on any of the players involved playing on Friday, but I suppose we'll see . . . we're planning a nice little quasi "we're glad you're not dead" ceremony for them. Well, technically I was a Sioux fan first, but sorry guys, now you come in a close 2nd. . . this is a great board though, I've been reading it for about four years, wish BU had an active one like it . . .
  17. I'm a BU student, but definetly not a troll, so take my word on this . . . They were not at a bar, they were at a house in a residential area popular with students just off of campus. In fact they were only a couple of blocks from Walter Brown Arena . . . although there may have been a fight previously, the four people attacked had nothing to do with it . . . they were attacked out of retaliation for an incident they were not involved in; they just happened to be there when the assailants returned with weapons. They broke no laws whether set forth by the state, city, university, or athletic department, and yes they deserve justice. On a brighter note, I will be at the Devs - B's game on Saturday, and should be able to post some pictures of Parise, Zajac, and Hale for anyone interested, in the former players thread.
