  1. 2 - 0 UNH now . . . 6:36 left in regulation
  2. Toews makes fun of P. Kane during radio interview.
  3. Parise's goal was awesome just to watch him slip-n-slide into the end boards in celebration. Having the ref signaling Goal really makes the picture But that interview with Travis is the most awkward thing I've ever heard, especially when he talks about being a late bloomer. "Ahh, well . . . uhhh, you know, and uhh, oh, you know. . . " You can feel his embarrassment.
  4. No one seems to know exactly what's wrong with Jordan Parise. Speculation seems to suggest one of the following: a. He never really recovered from the concussion. b. He sustained another concussion. c. He's left hockey to concentrate on his music career. Whatever it is, it doesn't look like he'll be back any time soon. The Baby Devs called up a goalie from the ECHL to fill JPar's roster spot, and normally the Baby-Baby Devs just sign an emergency backup to sit on the bench, but this time they went and traded for another goalie so . . .
  5. Bayda plays "Flip the Midget" Play the body, not the puck . . . even when the puck is right there.
  6. Man, I stepped out with like 3 minutes left in regulation and I missed that. Travis should have punched the guy just to get the Gordie Howe. I hope the highlights have the "hit" a Cane tried to put on Parise in the first. Gleason went in for the big open ice hit but instead he kind of just bounced off of Zach who just stood there.
  7. Zajac scores his first goal in 8 games . . . lucky #13 on the season.
  8. Parise with #22 on the PP against Ottawa. His goal stands as the game winner. Commie fought David Clarkson in the first . . . edge to Clarkson. Still can't find anyone that knows what's wrong with JPar.
  9. The Devs have 3.6 million in cap room so Lou has said that if they make any moves they will not be blockbuster trades per se. Lou is notorious for not sacrificing the future of the organization in order to win in the present; he always thinks in the long-term, he isn't going to rent a star player at a high cost and have it not work out (Read: rumors of acquiring Sundin or Blake). He is going to "acquire" the best player available for a minimal exchange on his end. That being said, I don't think Lou will make a big trade, meaning giving up our future (Parise/Zajac) or waiving Elias' NTC. I have heard Clarkson's name being thrown around in rumors more than Zajac's and Lou has publicly stated that Parise will not be traded. In the end I think it's the midget who'll be traded, and possibly also Pelley (though we sent him to Lowell) because basically he's just Madden 2.0 and we can always create another one of those with someone in the system.
  10. Parise nets #21 in the first tonight vs. ATL and misses in the shootout. Travis also failed to win the game for the Devs in the shootout. JPar appears to be injured again . . . Lowell called up a goalie from Trenton. I'll try and find out his status.
  11. Zach Parise - In the Spotlight at NHL.com
  12. No, it's 11>9 . . . Goligoski is included in the 9 (unless I'm missing someone different)
  13. Actually, that list I found on another website and it's not exactly right (the list covered the 06 season), so I did one myself. As of today there are 186 former NCAA players on NHL rosters. The teams with the most players are: Michigan-16 Wisconsin-15 Boston College-13 Boston University-11 Michigan State-11 North Dakota-11 Minnesota-9 Shocking results to all I'm sure.
  14. Are you wondering about how many are currently in the NHL or how many they've had in the history of the program? Currently: (I think this is accurate) 19-Michigan 15-Boston University 13-Boston College 13-Maine 13-Michigan State 13-Wisconsin 11-Minnesota 11-North Dakota Historically, I'm too lazy to look or compile.
  15. I still haven't seen where he touched the puck, but he says he got his stick on it. I swear to God, one day he's gonna choke on his mouthguard
  16. Travis with his 12th goal of the season tonight. Zach's playing great and the broadcast team let us know the reason why . . . he flew his Dad and Uncle to NJ and they're staying for a week. Zach always ups his game when his Dad comes to watch.
  17. Parise hits Rozsival ---> Link Parise's PP goal ---> link
  18. Parise with the Devils first (and only )goal tonight on the PP. 19 on the year for Zach.
  19. SHG dammit
  20. Here's the blog post from the Devils beat writer, which refers to the following articles where 1. Sutter says their best players have to play better. 2. Parise and Zajac agree with their coach's comments It's not anything too bad, but when your Coach tells the media you need to play better you damn well better play better.
  21. It was Rosizval . . . Zachy is obviously anxious to redeem himself in the eyes of his coach after being called out in that article. Plus he hates the Rangers, it's in his blood. I'll post the link to highlights tonight 'cause everyone should see this.
  22. Channel surfing only posts links for the present day, as does the other forum I linked to, it is updated daily so check tomorrow for any links for game one and Saturday for that night, but of course there are no guarantees.
  23. Check http://channelsurfing.net/ tomorrow/Sat for a link; the games are televised so there's a good chance they'll appear there. Or if you don't mind installing a new media player, this site usually streams all of the televised hockey games on Fri and Sat. Just check the streaming threads on game day. Or I can post links if and as they become available.
  24. These are pictures of the Sabres jerseys with the old color scheme. The change back to the blue/yellow/white scheme is fairly recent, within the past two seasons I think.
  25. Uhh, I know. That's why I rated his rumor an e-567833563. Perhaps this smiley may have been more appropriate Yes, and Lou has publicly stated that Parise will not be traded. When he wants out, he'll have to do it the Gomez way.
