It's a boy! Per twitter, the Zajacs welcomed son Zenon Nathan this past week. I really hope that's not the name but either way congratulations.

According to the Devils broadcast there's a future NoDak recruit about to be born. Though if it's a girl she might choose her mom's alma mater. Either way congrats to the Zajacs. Oh, and Travis will be out another 3 weeks at least with an inflamed achilles.

Oh give 'em a break, they're not professionals, they're just students. It's only their second time covering women's hockey if anything at all. Now tied 1 -1 about half way through regulation.

They have already selected alternates, Oshie is one of them; so I would presume that any injury replacements would have to be one of the previously named alternates.

Guess he finally listened to Jacques who said the only thing Travis needs to do is "Be more selfish and shoot the puck." Parise also had a goal last night.
