I sure we make the playoffs, it's actually a little embarrasing not to make the playoffs now that we're eligible. An FBS win would be nice at some point in the future. We definitely need that signature D1 win.

How about some games on statewide TV? That doesn't seem to be happening either.

Getting back to the topic of FBS football, which has nothing to do with basketball, I'd say we should forget it until we dominate FCS, and so far that hasn't happened. Win a couple titles and pack the stadium, then we'll talk.

Darrel, seriously, it's actually embarrassing how you carry on about this UND-NDSU thing. The best thing to hope for is to meet and beat them in playoffs. Really, we control our own destiny on this. It appears that the NCAA will always pair up regional teams early, so this should be the goal. Another way to look at is, if we aren't good enough to make the playoffs, would really want to meet up with the Bison? In the mean time, give the ex rivalry a rest. Your blood pressure might appreciate it.

Saying that Mussman has 3 more seasons to make the playoff's is absurd. I'd say 2014 at the latest, and that's even going to be a long wait considering how lackluster our attedence has been.

I'm not saying it's a bad thing, and I feel overall this class has a ton of potential. I was just wondering why we seem to be looking in that direction.

Why aren't we recruiting more in our conference footprint? I would think we want BSC kids so that they could play a few games in their old back yards to impress the folks back home.

This thread is turning into a bigger train wreck than the FCS playoff one was. I'm not even sure why anyone even cares if we play any more and maybe everyone should just ignore it. Really, it's just the same old BS thrown back and forth. The Bison say we stopped playing them, and we say the Bison won't start playing us again. It's just time to look at what can be done in the Sky.

It doesn't matter. The name has been gone since June and the world hasn't ended. Everyone and everything survived just fine, so it's time to move on.
