If we beat NDSU we would roll the rest of the year. I'd say we should be very capable of 10-1 if that were to happen. The playoffs should be the ultimate goal with beating the Bison a feather in our caps along the way. No way do we win in Fargo and then play dead the rest of the season. Now if we lose to NDSU and fail to make the playoffs, then no question Bubba needs to go. The failures can't go on forever.

You want to hire D2 coaches, and ones from a losing program at that? Does the name Paul Rudolph mean anything to you?

More transfers aren't the answer, they're just washouts from other programs. Look at Kett, he didn't become our miracle cure. The answer obviously is recruting better players and retaining them. Hopefully Boltman is ready at QB next year.

Well there's no use firing Kostich and Rudy but keeping Bubba. He'll just go out and hire a couple more piss poor coaches and go on. This is on Bubba and nothing will change until we start over. Bubba just can't seem to attract competent people or he's a terrible judge of character. Whatever, he's not getting it done.

I agree fully. Get Bubba out and let someone else finish out the season. I'd even be in favor of Danny Freund being the interm coach. He bleeds UND football more than anyone I know. At any rate, everyone at the top needs to go, all of them.

Yea, it coulda/shoulda/woulda been a good season. It's time, fire Bubba. He never could recruit and never could figure out Rudy was bad, and now it's obvious he can't coach either. Chaves needs to just do it. Hand Bubba his walking papers and get it over with. Bubba=Muss.

The only game I worry about a little is NAU if they have a good game and we happen to suck that day. The other two should be no problem, if they are then we don't deserve to be in the PO's.

If Augie does an honest and realistic assessment we should have nothing to fear. No way can they justify a move to D1 unless they have blinders on when doing this study. I'm of the opinion they will study it, puff their chest out about it for a while, and then stay put.
