One decade out of how many? 6-7? While yes one decade is a long time, there are still a bunch that do remember the games. Heck, I am not out of school and I remember it so you really can't count this decade as a total loss either. But yes, it needs to get started soon before the time period becomes an issue.

Almost any book contains errors. Yet they are considered a solid source because they were written by an expert. Wikipedia is true on almost everything they have up there. Yes it was added by some regular person, but they would probably have an interest in the subject and are getting their research from respected sources. If the site is proven to be accurate in almost all situations, why shouldn't it be acceptable to use? If I write a book on the Civil War, people can quote it. Never mind I don't have a degree in history and the fact that the book likely will be discredited by historians. You as a regular person do not know that. I say that the site has proven itself worthy and should remain worthy until we see changes in the wrong direction.

Well it is pretty hard to have a rivalry with someone you have never played! Of course they would say SDSU. That is a product of recent events.

According to the Dakota student, the student wasn't allowed to change rooms after asking for a switch. This wasn't the impression I got from reading the email conversation. What to believe? I also knew of someone last year who got into an argument in which his roomate hit him. The victim was the one who moved out and was easily accomodated by the residence hall organization. If it is indeed true that a new room was asked for, why was this incident not as important as getting hit?

I understand that facts get changed but even though that was a small one, the next one could totally change the story. This is also an email between two people. It involved no journalist. If you are trying to make a point like Jack was, you should have your info as accurate as possible. I also realize that I am missing obvious pieces but it doesn't sound like Jack and UND are on the same page either. From what I understand from reading the email, the university was not going to give him a refund if he moved out of the dorms (a poor decision by the housing people). However, it sounds like they did offer to move him to another room, which was found to be unacceptable by Jack and likely the student. Thats how I am currently reading it.

Your other examples aren't on the same scale as this video. It wasn't like the video itself was of people making fun of Jews or Hitler persecuting them. It wasn't even a scene dealing with Jews. It was a scene with a military leader, albeit one with horrendous human rights violations. However, he has been portrayed for comedic purposes before (Hogan' Heroes) and will continue to be. What makes the video funny is the subtitles. You could have used any foreign speaking angry person on the brink of destruction and the video would not change. The original video used Hitler because of the recognition factor but it isn't what the video is about. It is unfortunate that the video needs to be taken out of context.

Those people must have been extremely short-sighted to not imagine that someone might actually try to replicate the movies.

So if a freak anti-semetic incident does not happen 2 days after the video is created, would it have been funny? Same principle as the other videos, only it looks extremely bad now. Still a great video though.

Wow. I have never seen this and never thought I would. Drawing a symbol is one thing. It is insensitive but is done without real reason. Targeting this kid seems so high school. One has to wonder what was the underlying cause to the incidents. I doubt a bunch of people ganged up on this kid because he is Jewish but it is possible. I think it is more likely that they had a problem with him about something else and chose to express themselves in this manner. Either way, it is disgusting and the students responsible should be kicked out of school. This isn't like the NDSU incident, or the theme party at UND. This is a REAL example of discrimination/racism.

The kids that go to the raven for punk concerts are quite a different the the crowd that would attend a club.

I first saw this on bisonville. I think it was originally created by a SU fan, thus is is not so much poking fun at ourselves but is smack. If it was not created by one, my apologies. That being said, it is true. Bison fans laugh at it because it makes fun of us and we laugh because we unfortunately know they are right.

While not school sponsored, Nebraska plays in the top division of their league. We play in the 2nd division of ours. Not all club teams are created equal. Almost every major university has a club team. Any time you can beat one is a major win in my book.

I don't see how talking about a person's actions, which happened on a public board, is somehow attacking a defenseless person. But that is my opinion and everyone has one. And if he has multiple accounts like it is rumored, I don't think he will have a problem responding to me. That being said, I don't dissaprove of his actions in that thread. It was a train wreck with blame laid on all parties involved. Him sticking up for you is something to be admired. However, it is his actions after being suspended that led to this topic being created. I doubt you went and did the actions that he is accused of doing after being suspended. Then again, I think a bit more highly of you. The bottom line is that respect is seriously lacking on this board and I don't think that stumping for the "source" to be allowed to post will help the situation at all. Once again, just my opinion.

O boy! He went over the top on every topic, disrupted legit discussion, and attacked posters. Yet because he is the source he should be allowed to do whatever?. And after reading that he is a pillar in the community, its no wonder why I think civilization is falling apart. Most 5 year olds act better than he did. He had some decent opinions but had no class or respect. I think its time to grow up a bit.

I agree to an extent. People don't drink because there is nothing to do. They drink because drinking is the better option of those available. This club would not end underage drinking, but it couldn't hurt. Sometimes people do want to join the social scene. However, that means drinking at house parties because they can't get into clubs.

Don't they usually rotate the HOF game? I doubt we would get it again next year. I would agree that the Breaker will likely be the first games of the year.

Exactly. Some fans can't see the difference between saying that we need some speed on D for next year compared to Joe Finley sucks. There in lies the problem.
