I hope it doesn't have to get to this point but unless something against the run of play happens, it may end up here. I think a better option would be to put pressure on GT and Chap through the media to be forthcoming on why NDSU and UND will not be seeing each other for a while. Make them outline all of the reasons for each sport that the 2 schools don't play each other. While FB will continue to have reasons even after UND is a counter, other sports will not. The only reason will be payback for UND's actions 5 years ago. Get them to admit this to the state what most NDSU and UND fans already know. No more hiding behind thin veiled excuses.

Its REA. Enough said. The lines never get unruly yet they think they need to mico manage everything. Listening to them read all of the rules when we got our tickets about put me to sleep. Although the seeing the fire dpartment watch a propane tank for like 30 minutes was pretty darn funny.

The one about the grills is stupid. Just because someone didn't know how to use a propane tank properly last year and ended up getting the fire department called isn't enough of a reason to ban all fire sources. Some people can actually use products in the intended manner.

I guess I don't really have a problem with this. True scheduling must be going a bit tougher than expected to likely have to schedule 2 teams of D2 or lower quality for next year. However, things of this nature were not (or should not) have been unexpected at this stage in transition. USF is a team playing in a division where they shouldn't be (kinda like if we would have stayed D2). I agree that if we actually go through with the 2nd game then something is wrong but I fully expect us to buy it out. Maybe the reason they got next years game scheduled was a guarantee of 2 games? I don't think UNI is looking to redeem the other 2 games that were potentially offered in that deal. Things change over time. I have total faith that the new administration will see us through this mess that was created by the old administration's poor vision and petty differences. The best thing we as fans can do is to support the team during this time knowing that there will be a payoff in the future.

Yeah REA doesn't do a very good job with info on GA tickets. During the year, those sections are first come first serve. However, tickets sold to the general public may have seat numbers printed on them, not really sure. The student tickets for the gopher series look just like the other ones so I would assume that the seats once again will be first come first serve in those 4 sections. You may get lucky though because usually the upper bowl is filled with students that have upper season tickets one night and then students who just bought single game tickets. However, I think a sizable number of student season ticket holders didn't purchase gopher tickets which then allowed REA to sell lower bowl seats to the students for single game tickets. That should mean a higher number of general admission tickets in the upper bowl, which should mean more of a chance to get a seat as non students seem to come closer to game time. If I had GA tickets, I would probably be at the Ralph when the doors open to assure I got a seat. I have seen many a person not find a seat when they show up 20 min before the puck drops.

I just don't see why it would be an issue. If eventually UND needs to change either the name or logo or what not, it is an issue between UND and the NCAA. It shouldn't matter to a conference what one of their members names is. And i doubt they will get bad press for allowing UND into a conference. The noise made by the PC people on this issue isn't very large. Without the NCAA supporting this nonsense, this wouldn't even be an issue.

Read the post again. He said has a birthday on sat not had, meaning its upcoming. Nobody was drinking before the game last sat.

The crowd was pretty fired up last night. Of course it helps when you get the first goal early on in the period. Lets just hope that there is a good turnout tonight and that everybody cheers loud.

I actually dont think it would. I think that the general public is much more apt to do this than the students are. That being said, having Duncan announce that they want this to happen will likely make it better than it was last year.

I concur. I am happy to see us get on this list. I wouldn't mind seeing us on a couple of the other lists that they produce as well.

I dont think it is through FSSN. USD broadcasts all of their home games on the midco channel. So even though it should be on the midco channel for whatever markets midco serves, I wouldn't think it would be available anywhere else as FSSN is not involved in the production. That being said, midco serves quite a few markets so it should be fairly widespread.

Lets hope the boys come out with fire and a desire to end with a winning record. This is always a fun roadtrip and this weekend should be no exception. But it is always sweeter to leave the Danger Dome with a win like last year. Also, I wonder what is up with the USD ticket office. Both websites say the game is at 12 but it is printed as 2 on the tickets. Hopefully that doesn't screw anybody up.

I honestly have a good feeling about this weekend. I think we are a team that could play with almost anybody in the country. We are also a team that could lose to anybody as well. If we play with intensity like we did on Fri, I will be happy with any result. That being said, we play a full 125 and come home with 3.

So how great would it be if the students would start an Alex Leavitt cheer this weekend? I would love it and I am sure Eaves would appreciate our concern for former Badger players.

They are in the MAAC for sports but the MAAC dropped football last year. That is why they are playing an independent schedule.

So a poster from Iona College on AGS mentioned that they are scheduled to play North Dakota next year but their program is in jeopardy of being cut. Iona looks to be an independent non-scholly school. Any thoughts on the game itself if it is true and/or the fact that we might be looking for another game if they do lose their program? AGS

It should be a good series next weekend! I will be slighly less drunk so I can cheer the Sioux on to victory. Tomnnight was a waste and the football team lost! O piss.
