Exactly! With our D we need to go for it. Our punting hardly slowed Davis. We had our chances in the 2nd half and couldn't convert. That dropped pass for a TD will give me nightmares tonight. We could have hung in here but our defense isn't too sharp and our kicking game could use improvement. Brandon is a good punter but I am not sold on him as a kicker yet. That and the line blocking on the kick. Man i guess we base our season on beating SIU next week.

Great call to go for it on 4th down! Took some guts but conservative play calling has hurt us in the past in similar situations. I imagine the lack of D was the deciding factor.

I think that the D will have to win it for us. However, that won't be till late in the game so the offense needs to keep us in the game.

Yeah I was watching part of the NDSU-Ill State game today and I thought it was odd how they had graphics in between every play.

I know it was supposed to be warm there. Is anybody trying to synch up the radio with the video? My video is slightly behind (which is better) but I was wondering if it is synching for anybody else.

Hopefully the D proves all of us wrong tonight. It has been a long day waiting for this.

SIU is a very odd team this year. They lose to NDSU in a game that NDSU tried their hardest to throw away. They then go beat UNI and seem to be the leader of the MVFC. But then they go and lay an egg like they did today. It seems like there is a lot of parity in the MV as nobody really wants to establish themselves as the cream of the conference. That isn't good if one of the teams wants to make it deep into the playoffs. Somebody will have to step up and make a run.

The NDSU of this year is not the NDSU of last year. And the UND of this year is also not the NDSU of last year. It is going ot be a tough game.

I don't think it was beer bottles, but rather coke bottles. Still, it wasn't the proudest moment of last year. I think it was against the Gophers but I could be wrong.

Um the gophers didn't have such a great year last year, finishing without home ice. I think they will be a lot better this year. It's not like great teams can't have a bad year even with talent. We may be seeing that with us, whether we think it should be happening or not.
