I think if the offense had proven it could get into the endzone, he might have been content to take the points of the board. But with no real evidence yet that we could get in for a TD, he prob was thinking we would likely end up kicking anyways.

Their game in Fargo comes before NDSU goes to Montana. If they don't go to Fargo, NDSU won't return the trip, thus Montana won't be canceling with NDSU.

I haven't really thought about this since I first read it but just from my first glance, it seemed like he was somewhat asking for restraint from faculty members if the deadline gets moved back. Its easy to see certain faculty members making a big deal about this in the classroom instead of focusing on educating and I think he was trying to urge them to remember why they have a job in the first place. But thats just my 2 cents.

Although the Tech game is just about the money and the exposure on a national level, other FBS teams offer other advantages. Playing a team from a low level FBS conference gives you a game that you have a legitimate chance to win. Plus you still get a payout (though not as much as a school from a major FBS conference would pay). A win that can get you some national attention and a payout. Sounds good to me. However, you also need games like the Tech game where the payout is much larger but the chance of winning is much lower. It would be nice in the future if we can get to a level of roatating between big payout FBS teams and winnable FBS teams.

I can only comment on DL but take it for whats its worth. The logo doesn't cause discrimination in DL. The discrimination comes from the fact that NA's are a sizable minority group in the area. Same thing happens all over the country to other sizable minority groups. You may be correct that discrimination does happen but I have yet to see evidence that the logo is somehow at the root of it or is a form of discrimination/racism.

Not even close to being the same. One involved an athlete, was on campus, and involved university employees while one happened off campus involving some student nobody has even heard off. That said, if it happened on campus, I bet we would have seen something. To send out an email would be a joke.

I think she should look into it.
