  1. No question this was the best Final 5 in terms of atmosphere. I was there again for this one in my day... Incredible, games and environment were electric and lunacy. So fun! Damn, watching this one brings back great times!
  2. @Blackheart You have Venmo or Paypal? I'd be happy to donate you some $$$ for all your time for this, would love to reward you and treat yourself. If you don't want anything understood. As you know, all of us here really appreciate it! MVP = @Blackheart
  3. I just want @schlossmangfh to continue to provide amazing content and continue to get creative like he mentioned brainstorming ideas with Tom Miller. @schlossman Now that the hockey season is over, would love to read some creative UND hockey content if you have some unique stories from the year to share if Berry and team allows/approves. See latest piece on Shane Pinto the other day on “The Athletic.” That was a fun read. Brad not tossing stones at your employer, click-bait articles and opinion articles isn’t going to please the mass crowd and will not cut it in 2020 onward. I read UND hockey and football content and browse the business section for new businesses and restaurants in the FM area ONLY. I’d pay to read your content, I think most SS users on this site would and are happy to support all that you do. Kudos, to Tom Miller on the UND football content too. People will be pay for quality content even with another subscription to everyones many subscription service already. In addition, with all the noise and little time to “consume” things, I’ll still make time to digest UND hockey and football articles. Cliche saying, content is king, however if content is king, context is God.
  4. Would have been more interesting if Guch would have produced more the last 6-8 games, I believe he was banged up a bit. That could have been an interesting overall story then imo. I had Guch winning at 40%.
  5. Individual awards don't mean much. Sucks for JK, seems like a great young man. In addition, UND only had 1 all-American? Ok... Green lens on or not, Matthew Kiersted was a stud, I didn't see a better D-man in the NCHC than him, imo. He also sat out for the CC series I believe (was banged up and/or sick - he would have had at least 3-4pts in that series). Both MK and Scott P. created a heavy load of offense and opportunities for their respected squads. If Scott P. was 1A, MK was 1B and wasn't too far behind. JK and MK are going to have monster years next year and should have a little chip on their shoulders again for motivation to propel and push themselves and the team to a Natty!
  6. He didn’t want to play another year of juniors. Rumor has it, he was looking to play elsewhere.
  7. Frisch is fully aware of the stakes at hand. He almost deferred and backed out/ left UND prior to coming to UND. He had a great year and exceeded expectations, no question. However, if Miller comes in and he's the real deal. Play your best players. I think EF will understand. He's a team player and knows he's a 4-year college guy and with the correct attitude and work ethic can develop into a real nice player that "could"play professionally somewhere when it is all said and done. Also have to take into context, freshie d-man take awhile to adapt to the college game. Kleven or other freshie D could see some healthy scratch games right away. Sanderson, not so much...
  8. Why did sioux-jersey.com shut down? It was awesome! Let's go fund me the guy and get it back up!
  9. No, it was the following: Players 0 221 posts Gender:Male Location:Wisconsin Interests:Golf, collecting hockey jerseys Favorite Team(s):North Dakota Fighting Sioux Favorite Player(s):Jonathan Toews, Travis Zajac, Doug Smail Favorite Jersey(s):Game-worn Robbie Bina Frozen Four Nike Swift Report post Posted June 5, 2011 I know this isn't really NHL related, but I thought I'd share with you my new website here instead of the ghost town college section: http://sioux-jersey.com Basically, the short story is that I wanted to create an online Encyclopedia of all the details and nuances of every North Dakota Fighting Sioux jersey ever worn. It's going to be a lot of work, but I thought I'd make it interesting by doing a blog piece for every new Encyclopedia entry. I just "launched" my site with Sioux fans earlier today with the posting of my first Encyclopedia entry, a 1995-2001 road Sioux jersey. Check out the blog for a good read on the jersey and era it was worn, and/or check out the Encyclopedia page for more jersey-specific details. I am also going to have a "Collect" section that chronicles each game-worn jersey out there (unrealistic goal, but I want as many as possible). Hopefully it becomes a little learning and trading center on the web for Sioux jerseys. I also have a Buy/Sell section which I have posted a Matt Greene (former Sioux) game-worn Oilers jersey for a decent price. If you want immediate updates, follow the site on Twitter @SiouxJersey. Thanks for looking, and if you have any comments or suggestions, I'd like to hear your thoughts. The site is still going through a ton of changes as I've had it running for less than a week, but made good enough progress to share.
  10. By chance is the website still up? If not, why did the person take down? It was excellent.
  11. Anyone remember the Und jersey blog the one dude had a few years back?
  12. Amazing thread! Being a UND fan is truly something special. Other teams don’t have anything like this. Siouxsports is quite the community. Fun to look at the jerseys.
  13. Why don’t we just wait until selection day. This seems like the Ryan Duncan season all over again. Let’s just wait and see.
  14. Note to self, thread topic is "Best" not "Worst" Sioux Memories. I got it SS users. My bad... I'll do better.
  15. @Blackheart Any interest in uploading 2005 NC championship loss to Denver?
  16. Someone refresh my memory. Lee Goren played 2 games in the WHL. How was he able to play college hockey again? I forget the story when I was only a young buck back then.
  17. Is it too early to do a projected lineup and lines for fun during this slow time for next year? Obviously, the team doesn't know who's all staying and who's coming in yet, but we have a pretty good idea.
  18. Amazing, thank you! Siouxsport users - who wants to order Blackheart some much earned Pizza or some decent food etc. ? Guy deserves it for his efforts on this stuff! @Blackheart What's your food of choice? How can we help and return the favor?
  19. Whoa, the AHL is not a development league? I'm gonna respectfully disagree with you Stevie-Y... Corey Perry, Ryan Getzlaf, Tyler Toffoli, John Carlson and Kyle Connor top of mind for a sample size will discredit your view/opinion.
  20. I agree 100% and don't disagree. Grand Forks doesn't have anything special when it comes to the food scene. In addition, I still think they have too many restaurants and nothing truly unique. Relax. When I am in GF, I go to Blue Moose, and that is in EGF, MN so....
  21. I don't think this thread is bad in particular. Grand Forks (my hometown) and Fargo have too many restaurants in general. In Brandon Bochenski, I hope to trust him to jump start Grand Forks. It needs it, big time!
  22. Ice cream kid is the only thing that can save the Ralph's game-day experience imo.
  23. Nice ad hominem article Fargo Forum -- https://www.inforum.com/sports/hockey/5018253-There’s-no-going-back-for-NHL-NBA This is why I'll never pay for your content. I'll bypass your paywall every time minus streaming sports at during Feb (no work around for that). Hot garbage!
