Yah according to the announcers it was an advantage that UND got to play the play-in game - nothing to do with being outrebounded. Somehow UND was able to get used to the court during their first game and not shoot 25% and get outrebounded by 20+ - just another fluke I guess.

They have a 3 year commitment, attendance will grow every year as fans start to understand the format.

I kinda agree with the announcers that it is a benefit to play in the first round and get comfortable with the court. This time of year an extra game shouldn't be an issue as far as conditioning.
