Okay. Count me as one of the folks who think looking at the MV Football Conference and the Summit would be a good idea. Cheaper travel. Better rivalries with the Dakota schools. But, I think we should keep women's hockey. We are, after all, a premier hockey school. That's a fact that can't be denied and should be enhanced with women's hockey.

I agree. The Ivy League won't participate in the FCS playoffs because it takes away from the academic mission. I am happy to report that UND has followed their lead.

On a scale of 5, I went from a low of 1 to a 3. It's still going to be second at best to the O'Brien logo. But, I'm warming up a bit.

Last time I saw him posting was on a Mountain West Conference extolling the virtues of having FU join their conference. The mocking of him was quite funny. To his credit, staying on that message it does keep him out of Scheels, away from unsuspecting victim's credit cards and out of the pokey...

I keep reading these additions to the roster and thinking that new indoor practice facility is a huge part of UND's future success. I finally saw it this summer. I was very impressed.

Totally. The P5 conferences are all over themselves to expand to the rural northern plains. Why? In those meetings they see an under served populace. They are doing it purely for their true mission. Academics. Their objectives are as pure as the rural driven snow and two lane roads their buses full of student athletes were born to travel. They see Trinity as a college in need of regional certification. This will help fulfill that goal. They wish to bring back the college of the late great Lyle Alzado. With the carrot of P5 membership, they can drive those goals for these schools.

Is there gear with the new logo? I would imagine it would sell better than without. It's going to take time, but I think it will eventually take hold and sell at a respectable volume. Heck, I'm even starting to warm up a bit. At least to some of the unofficial altered versions.

I was in the secret meetings. It's all true. The mayor of Ellendale will announce a joint Trinity / City of Ellendale 50,000 seat state of the art stadium to be built by fall of 2020 when they join the Big 12. The announcement will come in October. If it doesn't, I'll pretend this post didn't happen and then push another plan. One by Yankton College to rise from the grave and join the SEC.

I have it on good authority that Trinity Bible College in Ellendale will add FBS football and join the Big 12 expansion. I have inside information. Prove me wrong. I double dog dare ya!
