You guys are actually a lot of fun when you tailgate. I had a blast at the CSU game. (Well, not so much the game, but before the game.) But, then, of course, I avoided that third rate felon as did most of you folks.

I bought my house on a hill to avoid flooding problems. It slopes a bit to the west...no issues. In the street or elsewhere. It just rolls downhill to the local reservoir. You should have bought your Fargo house on a hill. You could have avoided....oh, never mind. (As a Colorado resident, I'm allowed one flat lander joke a year...I just used it up...)

You are probably right. I guess it really doesn't matter. The judge did the job needed. That job is punishing criminals in the state of North Dakota. Thank God that felon lives in another state. We don't need riff-raff like that third class felon living in the great state of North Dakota. I wonder if leaving the state was part of the sentence? Perhaps I should read the transcript? Maybe, between the sobbing of the felon, I can get that info from the transcript?

That is impressive about Pomeroy. I wonder if, when he was outside of the Fargodome, he ran into someone else denied entry who also happens to be a third class felon known for threatening elected North Dakota officials? hmmmmmmmmmmm....

Not sure either. I also wonder if getting refused entry to the Fargodome is because of sobbing like a little girl in front of the judge in Jamestown or some other action? Either way, the judge was probably a UND grad happy to put the hammer down on that third class felon!

Good point. Did you know that credit card fraud can be considered a class 3 felony in the state of North Dakota? One needs to obey the law. Or, you could end up in front of a judge in Jamestown, ND...crying like a little girl...

They wanted a "cooling off" period. So, they say. It was probably easily agreed to as a way to get the opponents and supporters to come together on something. I believe a cooling off period was necessary. But, I also believe that our dear Johnny boy has a point. Now, to be honest, in the vacuum of a nickname, there has surfaced more hope that the Fighting Sioux nickname can survive in the absence of any nickname. I don't agree that there should not be a nickname, because it ultimately continues the controversy. Time to move on. Enough is enough. Let's go about choosing one and putting that behind us. Yeah, many of us (including me) older fans will wear the Sioux logo. But, let's have another generation develop their own affinity to their official school nickname. I think it may be ultimately selfish of the hangers-on not to let it go.

As a Wyoming fan too, I am pretty excited to have Bohl in Laramie. (And thankful he left Fargo...) The home opener with Montana has been selling a lot of tickets. It may come close or even sell out. It will be interesting to see if, after a couple of years, his system works at the FBS level. It's going to be a rough start. The talent level is pretty shaky in Laramie right now.

Three time defending FCS champions. Yeah, they should be ranked #1 to start the season. They probably won't be there after the first few weeks, but that's where they deserve to start. It's all downhill from here for them. It's all uphill for UND.

I actually agree with Mariucci about the Redskin nickname. However, if you have any integrity, then cancel the deal with the Vikings if they won't relent. Same thing with Florida State. Show some integrity or shut up about it. Money is obviously more important to the "U" than integrity. Obviously.

My brother was going to show up in his Blackhawks jersey. I told him to wear his Sioux jersey out of respect for Greene. Not that he ever listens to me...
