Gopher player falls down, UND player gets a penalty

Alright, I only saw it once. Since it wasn't on screen when it happened, I only saw one replay. If Rau lifted his hands up that probably explains why it flew up as awkwardly as he did. Isn't Contact to the Head supposed to be an automatic 5-minute?

Rau's got balls, gotta give him that. If I were a Gopher fan, I'd be unhappy about Rau in the box, too. But...MacWilliam's initially hit was just a solid hit, but the after stuff probably wasn't necessary.

I had to listen to the beginning on the radio in Minneapolis, and I'll say, Frank Mazzaco really sucks at calling a game on the radio. Fine for tv but awful on radio.

Parenteau just took a shot at Rocco's head after the whistle. And that was after Rocco actually let up when Wilcox covered the puck, instead of hacking at the puck like most players do.

Not sure what happened on that Gopher shot, but it seemed like a heck of a changeup. Hard shot, but it fluttered and went slow through the air.

Pretty sure that went off the Gopher defenseman.

That's a gift PP for us. And ANOTHER gift. Gophers touched it and they didn't blow it dead.

That wasn't what Mitch did, though. It was a two-handed slash right to the player's side. The first penalty was bogus. The 2nd one was legitimate.

Put the alcohol down for once! Sometimes penalty calls are legitimate. Like when a player gets hacked right in the side, there's a chance he'll be stunned and fall down. Bonehead move by Mitch.
