  1. I don't know, but there were at least four on that last PP. Two of them lead directly to the Gophers clearing the zone.
  2. And you can't even really blame anybody on that goal, except Gleason's stick manufacturer.
  3. Two fanned passes now lead directly to clears.
  4. Thanks for making my point.
  5. A couple times on that sequence a UND player could have flopped to the ice and probably drawn a penalty.
  6. Schmaltz isn't having a very good game. He needs to get his head back in it and focus.
  7. 19-15, Gophers, I think.
  8. Actually it was people on both sides having a "rivalry love fest".
  9. Mark Mac sure does have some pretty good puck skills.
  10. Parenteau just took a shot at Rocco's head after the whistle. And that was after Rocco actually let up when Wilcox covered the puck, instead of hacking at the puck like most players do.
  11. I was thinking the same thing
  12. Not sure what happened on that Gopher shot, but it seemed like a heck of a changeup. Hard shot, but it fluttered and went slow through the air.
  13. Pretty sure that went off the Gopher defenseman.
  14. That's a gift PP for us. And ANOTHER gift. Gophers touched it and they didn't blow it dead.
  15. That wasn't what Mitch did, though. It was a two-handed slash right to the player's side. The first penalty was bogus. The 2nd one was legitimate.
  16. Ah...I missed that one.
  17. Maybe this Play by Play guy isn't so bad: "Sioux Sioux Sioux Sioux Sioux"
  18. Alabama-Huntsville. The only school south of the Mason-Dixon line with a hockey team.
  19. Put the alcohol down for once! Sometimes penalty calls are legitimate. Like when a player gets hacked right in the side, there's a chance he'll be stunned and fall down. Bonehead move by Mitch.
  20. Pretty sure the refs were just waiting for the first hit of any kind so they could call a penalty on it.
  21. Lucia just called it a "healthy rivalry". Flip-flopper!!!
  22. Full hour pre-game on FSN starts now
  23. Mankato actually joined in 1999, according to HockeyDB and Wikipedia. As CC head coach he still could have been advocating to get them in the league, but it surely wasn't because they were another Minnesota school.
  24. It's only on Fox Sports North. If you're outside of that viewing area you probably need the full sports pack in order to get that channel to watch the game.
  25. I just looked up Earl, because he's the diver I remember the most. He played 32 games with the Wild in 09-10, 6 games in 2010-11, then off to Europe. I always found it really hard to cheer for him when he was with the Wild. Cepis is in the ECHL, probably for the remainder of his career.
