One of the guys asked if Lindsay Jacobellis was in net (because she had just crashed her snowboard again at the X games. I can not remember all of it but it was pretty funny.

The Sioux are getting good publicity over Bina's goal. It has been all over ESPN. It was pretty funny on PTI when they debated it.

I am pretty sure Kraft will not be going to state this year. And I would not count on Minot winning Consolation; I think they have a good shot at winning their first game.

Not really. I was not counting the Sioux's win over the US under 18 team.

The Sioux are now 8-1-1 in their last ten games. Wow have they ever turned things around! In their eight college games before that they had just one win.

The Minot vs Bismarck game was a heck of a game. It was very intense and fast. Also, plenty of hitting. Both sides had good chances. Bismarck took the lead towards the end of the second period. But Minot scored right away to tie the game just before intermission. There were no rabbits thrown on the ice this year. I heard that they found several bags of rabbits under the stands though. And I know at least one (probably more) person got kicked out.

Minot beat Bismarck Century 3-1 last night. A pretty good game and Century played well.

Mike Aftem was suspended for weed. Dillon Kraft, Guy Weber, Carter Stahl, and Mitch Haugeberg were suspended for alcohol.

Well theoretically most of the knotheads should be off the team by now. In all honesty I do not think the game will be that big of a blowout. Minot takes care of their defensive zone pretty well. But who knows, Red River just might have to much offensive power. Minot plays Grafton the night after Red River...

Wow!! What happened to South? Red River killed them. There must be something wrong with South, chemistry issues, big heads, or something. But even their goalie played bad. I can understand a fluke game but letting in 8 goals is hardly a fluke. And I am sure it was not all is fault; apparently the whole team played horrible. Wow... I now have Grafton in front of South in my rankings.

I am getting really disappointed with Minot players. I heard that another player was caught with alcohol, so he will be suspended. This is getting ridiculous! These kids need to have some commonsense! Minot has lost FIVE Varsity players this year! It is starting to make me mad. One bright thing I can think of is that the JV team has not lost a single player to a suspension. So there might be some hope for the future. (Three of the JV players, including two of the better players, are from Bishop Ryan)

I have a good feeling coming into the upcoming weekend. The Sioux are rolling. They have a record of 6-1-1 in the last 8 games. The Fighting Sioux have out-scored their opponents 26 to 13. That is double the goals. I know Minnesota will be ready to play following a tough split with Denver but North Dakota will be too and the momentum favors the Sioux. Lets go Sioux!!!
