Good job Sioux! That was a great game today.

Minot has started tryouts. And about 26 kids have been picked to go to varsity practices. I imagine that that group will be reduced by the end of next week. JV has not been set yet, but 6 kids will end up being cut. Also, for most all of the tryouts so far the players that play football have not been there.

Nice job by the Sioux tonight. I thought they played quite well. 3 out of 4 points is pretty good for the weekend; that meens the Sioux have captured 75% of available points so far this year. Lets just not get caught off gaurd in Alaska like Wisconsin almost did last night. So how was the crowd atmosphere tonight? It seemed to be better from the TV. Thanks.

Yea, Wahpeton had a ton of people there. They were much more into the game then the Minot fans, standing and cheering a lot.

There has been quite a lot of complaining about the atmosphere at The Ralph lately. Well, LETS IMPROVE IT! What can be done to make it better? What do other rinks do better to get a good atmosphere? Get some ideas out there. Try and keep some substance in this thread, not just all complaints about stuff that can not be controlled. Thanks

Which conference to you believe is better, the Mid Con-Gateway or the Big Sky? The Big Sky has all sports including football. Where as in the Mid Con, football would be in a different conference. The Big Sky has Montana and Montana State but one or both of them might go D1-A. The Mid Con and Gateway (probable) have long time rivals NDSU and SDSU. The Mid Con-Gateway also has easier tavel. They could do either for the move to D1. And I think that they probably will. The Sioux Falls market is pretty big and they could become a real attraction for basket ball games. But then again, if they are not going to have schollie football at D1, they could just as well stay at D2 and play folow North and South Dakota teams because the D2 basketball seen is still pretty good, it seems to me.

What is the feeling out in there? Is UND going to be as good of a football team next year as this year? Or will we be down because of the impending playoff ineligebility? We will have an untested Q-back (likely) but our running game should be alright, I think.
