The hockey powers are not going to allow a UND-UM game in the postseason until they get back to an annual regular season match up.

We absolutely have to be in position to jump to FBS the instant any of UM, MST, or FU decide to go. As far as I'm concerned, we shouldn't even be the follower. We should be the leader along with UM.

Interesting that there would a couple (multiple) games in far western Canada. Its not like we struggle to recruit and we really don't have any alumni out there. Plus when was the last time a US college team played an exhibition against a Canada team in Canada?

Its not the Kings' decision though. Forbort can do whatever he thinks is best for himself. I am sure the Kings will try and influence it to what they think is best, but ultimately its Forbort's call. I personally don't think it is worth it to jump early and spend a long time in the AHL. But each player is different and has his own needs and goals. I can't imagine how difficult the decision must be. What with college people pulling for him to stay in college, Kings trying to get him signed for any number of reasons (they think he'll develop better in their system, they are afraid of losing him after he graduates, etc.), other NHL sources telling him other stuff, family pressures and friends too plus ex Sioux players saying their stuff. I wish the best for everyone who is trying to make that decision this year.

Gotta have taxes. But I still maintain that property taxes are fundamentally wrong. (I know the measure failed and all that) Its not right that you have to "rent" your land from the government.

Not trying to ignite this fireball again, but Kolpack tweeted that FU will likely only have 5 home games this coming season. Perhaps FU will finally realize its time to do an annual series with UND.

Maybe we should just go ahead and declare we are moving up to FBS and wait for the invite.... just a thought...
