I'd really like to see Walski start on Friday. I think being a member of the team, he deserves a chance, if it doesn't go well, they can split the series. That was done many weekends last season, Hak should give it a chance this season as well, to see who is up to the challenge.

JFR, It is a change for her but she has really enjoyed her time there. She is a senior this year, so I dont know how much longer she will be there, or what her plans are. She is a very smart girl, so I know she will succeed.

I was there after the game and still 1 bid at $1,000. That was an online maximum bid made by someone. I think Staffords went for $375. I'd like some opinions here... The online bids have to be in by noon on Friday. You give them your MAXIMUM bid, say $1,000. Shoud they put that up as a starting bid? Or, should they start at $200, and then go from there, if there happens to be any other bidders. I think they should treat it as a bidding war. Although this way they are guaranteed the top bid the online bidder agreed to. Who knows, that guy could have gotten the jersey for $600 instead of $1,000. Discuss...

Went to the ND Elite II vs Winnipeg Warriors today at Gambucci Arena. This was a case of "I went to a fight and a hockey game broke out." I should have counted how many from each team got kicked out, but I think it was around 5-6 for Winnipeg and 4-5 for ND Elite II. Oh yeah, within the first 5 minutes of the game, one of the Winnipeg coaches got a T and was sent packing. Had to start wondering a little later, towards the end of the game if one of the moms from Winnipeg was trying to start something with an Elite mom. Her kid got kicked out and then she thought the Elite mom said something to him as he was leaving the ice (but never actually went to the locker room). Some parents! Anyway, Winnipeg won 4-2.

Devils Lake is a great place. Maybe not many things to do, but, with all of the fish in Devils Lake and the birds around in the fall along with the deer population, it's a fisherman's and hunters paradise. Doesn't hurt that the folks are still there, so I have someone there to see when I "go home".

Plus, this is Thanksgiving weekend. Many students and other ticket holders will be out of town. You shouldnt have a problem getting tickets. Check with the box office a few days before.
