Since many of the students will be gone that weekend, I dont think you should have a problem getting tickets. I remember from past years, during holidays and breaks, the student section has other people sitting in those seats.

Just checked out my jackets. Both the NORTH DAKOTA on the front kangaroo pocket and the logo on the back of the jacket are embroidered on the jacket, not decals sewn on. The jackets are very nice.

I'd love to be more involved in the chanting and cheering etc. Unfortunately, I sit in a quieter part of the arena. I do what I can, but...others just sit there. The Sioux Yeah Yeah thing would be great to do more, but from where I am, by the time I hear it, the reply of Yeah Sioux Sioux is over! Last spring at the Frozen Four, somebody came on our bus and said that, and I (40-something years old) and another person were the only others to reply to it. The other folks on the bus looked at us like we were from another country. I think we need the students to come up with chants/cheers for power plays, goals, etc. If they can get them up on the fascia, that would help. I did see the school song up there...once.

They had a reserve list for the Commodore bobbles when he was here with the cup. The sheet was in the pro shop and they should be coming in soon. I think the date for them to be here was in November. I would think they would have ordered plenty of them.

While watching the Senators and Canadiens on TV last night I heard the Ole song in the background. It was not after a goal, though.

That would be my reply regardless of who it was that did that. I will welcome anyone to the GF community who deserves a welcome. If they happen to mess with my family or friends, they arent so welcome anymore.

For what he did to a friend of mine here on ss.com, he wasn't sent packing soon enough. I too, hope he chooses to continue with grad school elsewhere.
