  1. *HockeyMom and Siouxmama run for cover*
  2. that was probably warrior08, trying to make some money to go to a school with a worthy football team.
  3. OK...but before this is over, my 2 cents agree with your 2 cents. He was put on the back burner without even a thought. He handled the whole deal with more class than I ever could have (and didn't). Love that guy.
  4. I think Brasco meant "game-worn" jerdeys. That is what has been auctioned off at hockey games. Seniors do have the opportunity to get a jersey, but there are many more to go around. The hockey jerseys have been sold since last January, plus the big on-line aution they had a few months ago. With so many players on the football team, I'm sure there would be enough for a decent auction. It would be fun to see people in jerseys at football games like you do at the hockey games.
  5. They all were team mates during Jakes senior year. I, too, think they all were on scholarships.
  6. Do you have a picture of that?
  7. I saw the report on ESPN today at lunch. The first thing I thought of was you, JFR. Good news for Rutgers!
  8. That would be my wish, too...but that model had better be someone of the likes of Mike Modano.
  9. Bobble heads are here. If you signed up for one, it will be saved for you.
  10. There was a time they sold football jerseys in the Sioux shop. This was a while ago, though. I think it may have been the opening season of the Ralph. EDIT: Just double checked with my son. It was during the opening season of the Ralph. He has a #9 Klosterman jersey.
  11. Watch yourself, your time here may be short lived.
  12. I don't think it's ND at all. I'm pretty sure thats the same sign I've seen edited in other ways.
  13. Devils Lake beat West Fargo 2-0. Off to a good start.
  14. A very tragic ending to something two kids loved to do. My condolences go out to their families and friends. RIP
  15. Nope, not an inflated statement at all...but then again, I was there to back him up!
  16. Speaking of south's D. Is it unusual for a coach to only play 4 D-men per game, if he has more than that to dress?
  17. Not our former player, but... Phil Kessel just scored the winning goal in a shoot-out between Tampa Bay and Boston. 8 players shot for each team in the shoot-out.
  18. I asked my son (a fraternity member) if he had ever heard of this happening. It was a couple of years before he joined a fraternity, but he hadn't ever heard of anything like this. I have my doubts, too. I think the "anchor run" is closer to the top of their "things to do" list, than dress like an indian.
  19. Chuck Norris...UV Red Vodka and Liquid Ice. Tastes like a Jolly Rancher! And it's pretty.
  20. Thanks for the offer, but I'm going to DL for another reason, too. It's my brothers 40th birthday party that night! Looking forward to having a couple of "Chuck Norris'". Has anybody tried those? HockeyMom...I think the buttershots is out and Chuck Norris is in for the next tailgate!
  21. I live in Thompson, have DirecTV, so no game for me. Going 15 miles into GF to watch it at a bar/restaraunt isnt an option for me. A 6 and 9 year old are not going to sit for that long. I guess I'll drive 90 miles to Devils Lake, and watch it at my parents house. Listening to GVSU announcers will be no big deal. At least I'll see the game.
  22. "...and also on satellite." What kind of satellite?
