  1. I have too many Sioux clothes to even start counting. A jersey in every color and my green Brandt game worn jersey. Have knitted scarves in UND colors for my daughter and I, have Sioux jewelry, magnets for the vehicle, a 3x5 flag at the lake and at home, my office has pictures (last game in old arena and first game in new arena), and I have the dream team photo to be framed. I have a sewing/embroidery machine so the possibilities for more Sioux clothing is endless. I have made many items for myself and my family already (and Sioux-cia) and there are many more to make! This fall and winter, on game days for Football, BB and Hockey, all my employees will be wearing green T's with something Sioux on them. Haven't figured that out yet. If anyone out there has an idea for the T shirts, let me know. ...is it October yet?
  2. In addition to those examples... Central had a kid who transferred from Bottineau (whose name escapes me now) on one of their championship teams in the early '90s, during the Jay Panzer era. I believe Central also had a Devils Lake transfer within the past 5 years or so. Somebody here who follows their program more closely than I do probably knows the names of the players I'm thinking of.
  3. Mr and Mrs Siouxmama are a 'yes' at whatever pricepoint. Let me know when to pay you.
  4. I heard "Mango" from Saturday Night Live is looking for a "partner" for his act!!
  5. Awesome story. He is one great kid. I wish Matt all the best and hope to see him in the Lightning lineup this fall.
  6. I know we have at least 1 ss.com member that lives in Warroad. Hope all is well with Gopher Fan in Sioux Land, as he just moved "back home". I also have many friends at nearby Rocky Point, about 7 miles away, and everthing is fine there. Good luck to all in Warroad in their recovery process.
  7. If you happen to be one of my employees...I'm the one going to see the cup.
  8. No predictions on what is going to happen at the end of the season, but I do look forward to seeing Devils Lake play some hockey. They had a great season last year and I thought Danny Groves did a good job for them in net. He will be a junior this year, and more comfortable with his job. Making it to state last year gave they guys some confidence and they will hopefully come out and show the east that they can compete as well as the rest of em. GO SATANS!!! or Firebirds (sorry...I'm a diehard)
  9. Hey kid...DAR is just messin' with ya. DAR, 99 cents is overpriced!
  10. But, Massen played that year. I dont recall seeing Moreland on the team, or even dressed for any games. EDIT: Massen was in the team picture, front row, next to Lammy, but in the photo we got in our package on the trip to the Frozen Four, his name was omited.
  11. Yes, he was in it, and James Massen wasn't. What happened there?
  12. I wouldn't waste too much money on those lottery tickets. After all, the cup coming here was almost for certain. I like the odds of that MUCH better than the lottery.
  13. The article states they are close to making plane/travel arrangements, and they hope to finalize Commodores Cup plans today.
  14. I think I still have some left. I'll be home in about an hour, and I'll check. I'll PM you to let you know for sure.
  15. And Holy Cross grit!
  16. She gives new meaning to "dark circles around the eyes"! Looks like she is related to Uncle Fester.
  17. He is wearing my favorite Sioux number, and looks genuinely happy to be at a "meet and greet". My sympathy goes out to all of his family and friends. Rest In Peace, Gordy.
  18. Nice article from the Devils. Good Luck Jordy, we will miss you. Hope you kick some a$$ in the NHL. I'll be watching.
  19. This is a PK thread, and it makes for conversation in the off season. Ummm...if you don't care, why are you reading this thread anyway?
  20. That may have been one of the more stupid things to do. Here we go again.
  21. Old tune: "Blame it on the Bossa Nova" by Eydie Gorme
  22. Keep your eyes open wide, you never know where that I-39 will lead you!
  23. Is that anything like the show with "Super Nova"? Just kidding...I remember Aldo Nova, and the past couple of nights I watched the show with Super Nova, looking for the new lead singer for their band. Watched it with my 21 year old son...yup...I'm old, too! But, to keep me young, I have my 5 and 8 year olds playing/fighting in the next room.
