  1. What kind of a job description does Jackson have? Shouldn't he be doing the same type of coaching that Berry did? What is the big difference here? Ummmm...those are serious questions.
  2. Yes, we are having trouble, but, I for one am going to support my team. We have awesome coaches, and great players. They just aren't clicking right now. Let's hope that turns around soon. I predict this weekend we sweep Tech.
  3. It's always a possibility that Sioux-cia and I will be there.
  4. Now thats something I'd consider skipping for a Sioux game! Just kidding. Have fun, whatever you decide to do. I'll probably see you at the game tonight.
  5. Bother going. (Although it shouldn't be a bother) It's not about the game, it's about a familymember playing in an important game. I went to every one of my brothers home hockey games. When he was a senior, I went to EVERY game. I started taking his nephew (my son) to the games when he was 3 days old. To this day, we have conversations about how nice it was for him to have his family there to see him play. It's something that doesn't come around a second time.
  6. Thanks for pointing that out. You beat me to the punch. The Sioux are our team. Have the courtesy to spell it correctly. You opened up 2 new threads and didn't spell it right in either one. Regular poster or not, tell me again you are not a troll.
  7. You are passing up the North/South game? They consider that the big rivalry in Fargo. You should be there for your brother. The Sioux will be here next weekend.
  8. My husband and I visited Pearl Harbor in January. I also would recommend people to take the time to see it. It is an experience that I will never forget. Although the attack happened long before I was born, to see the oil from the ship still seeping to the surface gave me a feeling I cannot explain. You are there, standing above something that holds the bodies of many fallen soldiers. A strange thing that happened there...right after we got off the ferry from seeing the memorial, my husbands cell phone rang. It was a call from a rodeo buddy of his. He said he just thought he had to call and check in with us, since we they hadnt talked for a while. Tom told him we were at the Pearl Harbor Memorial, and at that time, Jerry told him that he had arrived at Pearl Harbor on December 8, 1941, for all of the after bombing clean-up and repairs. He said Pearl Harbor is something that he will never forget. Neither will I. God Bless all those who served at Pearl Harbor.
  9. Come over to section 113 and introduce yourself. I'll be the one in a green Brandt jersey with the 3 kids (1 will be wearing the green throwback you want). HockeyMom will be a section or 2 over from me.
  10. I think the auction has really caught on and none of the jerseys will be under $600...no matter whose it is. Last year when this was a new thing, not everyone was aware of it. Not any more! They are wanted pieces of merchandise! This is why I think they should do this for the football jerseys too. There must be 80 of those, and quite a few numbers would be in demand, be it present or past numbers.
  11. Hope all the guys (and girl) heal well. I can sympathize with Schaeffer. When I was in jr high, I was on 1st base and got hit with a line drive. Knocked out, broken orbit, eyes swollen shut for 2 weeks, un-stoppable bloddy nose. I was in the hospital for 1 week. Not fun, but I healed up. Hope all of those that are involved, are brought to justice.
  12. No, it's not. Doc's name is spelled McBane. Great guy. I worked at Mercy Hospital in Devils Lake for many years. He would always come up to the nurses station in the morning (or anytime for that matter) and say "Hi all you birds". Never figured out why we were called birds. I still get to see him and his wife at the Sioux games.
  13. My coccyx is safe. ...padded seats in the dune buggy!
  14. This is what I know. Dad lives in Hazen-Beulah area. Mom lives in WEST Fargo. Kid goes to school at Fargo South. He is not playing now (but did play on the Elite II team), and will not start right away into the 2nd semester. His time isnt up until shortly after that time. Are they divorcing? Dont know, but if they are it may have already been in the works. My question. Why move to West Fargo, but have the kid sit out the waiting period, when the move could have been to the South area, and he could have played right away? I did hear the coach is tough this year. If you get in trouble and cant play, he makes sure you are not involved in ANY school extra cirricular activities. Investigation complete.
  15. Oh yeah! Those 2 shots will make you even better!
  16. I'm not a Doctor, but I worked in a hospital for a VERY long time. I can tape you up, stitch you up, apply cold compresses, administer medication, and give you 2 shots and call your Dr. in the morning. ...or is it "put the lime in the coconut and call me in the morning". Either way, I'd wear em and show everyone your are proud to be a Sioux fan.
  17. Interesting. Way to take those vows seriously. How does that go...for richer, or for poorer, for better, or for worse, as long as we both shall live...or until our son has a chance to play for a better hockey team. My nephew plays for South. I'll do a little under-cover investigating to see what I can find out.
  18. Go for it, JFR! Wear them with pride. Head high, shoulders back. Show them at Dartmouth you are proud to be a North Dakota Fighting Sioux fan.
  19. Nice video. Great photography. Good job bogeyboge50.
  20. Just keep her away from your hairdresser and make-up bag.
  21. Did you get that new hair-do for the holiday's? Your kids will be so proud of you when you show up at their Christmas programs at school. The Avatar says "Yep...I mean, no, thats not my mom. She's the new kids mom."
  22. Ya, and take off that blue eye shadow you're wearing.
  23. They aren't looking at you funny because you are laughing...
