They did fall some but their rpi was so far ahead they stayed at the 1 spot still. I think those games are why Und is right on their tail now.

It's only one spot below where they were predicted, which isn't too shabby considering how cold it has been in grand forks this winter! Look at the bright side! It would be tough to do any worse! So they can only improve on this season!

That type of attitude has been lingering with und's athletic department since the transition to d1-football(moving in the right direction now hopefully) and basketball. Coincidence that Und was the catalyst of the new conference? At what point does the hammer come down and we refuse to accept mediocrity?

So Und is only behind Mankato by about .2 in rpi. Will und's strength of schedule allow them to bypass Mankato by matching their number of wins from here on out?

Well said Irish. Also, I'm curious what jones does if anything to be involved in the community. I haven't heard of any programs the basketball team gets involved in for gf's youth. Maybe I'm wrong here and they are very involved and I just haven't noticed. But if they want to boost the team's hype without winning I think this would be the first place to start.

I don't see how Notre dame's TV contract would conflict with nchc's current agreement with CBS. When the conference was formed cbs wouldn't allow any other national games. Fcs was considered national and they are now allowing games on fcs. Unless CBS has specifically said the nchc teams can't be aired by NBC?

Und should be shooting for that #1 spot for a first round game against Bob morris or the aha tourney champion.

I know I went and watched the sioux practice thurs afternoon. And during our walk over western mich players were just walking down one of the skyways after their practice. Maybe they were delayed?
