  1. We'll see some Blake-hunting tonight. He can make them pay.
  2. The whole team changes as the game progresses, especially under some pressure. They all start out looking quick and skilled, but by game's end you can hear them grunting and see puddles of drool on the ice behind them. Especially Rizzo.
  3. How long has it been since UND had so many who can snipe? Blake, Gaber, Perron, Berg, McLaughlin, Johannes . . .
  4. It is. On the road against DU, you'd have thought he'd need to be stellar.
  5. Denver has a goalie issue. Persson may have had an off night, but he was easily the best goalie on the ice.
  6. They're missing Chrona.
  7. Glad these boys don't fall apart as easily as a lot of us do.
  8. Yup. My bad
  9. Perron has the best one-timer since Oshie. Well, not counting all those one-timer goals called by Mr. Hammer
  10. How would you suggest?
  11. Lot of hockey to be played yet, both tonight and before March. Thats cliche’ but worth noting for this team
  12. Those goals aren’t (all) on Persson
  13. Too close to overturn that call, IMO
  14. Incoming!!
  15. They really ought to be willing to pay money not to have to play them.
  16. I've been reading here how DU recruits much better than Berry & Co. and how their young coach can relate to young studs like Rizzo, so it wouldn't surprise me if DU wins by 8 or 9 both nights. In fact, I've asked my therapist to give me a double session on Tuesday and maybe an extra one later in the week. When your ability to be happy depends completely on Sioux hockey success, you have to be prepared for misery sometimes. Oh well.
  17. To say nothing of best jerseys
  18. Seems he is able to tell when the opposition is skilled and quick enough to make his dangling risky, something I wondered about as recently as this season
  19. I don’t expect any UND fan or player to be afraid of any team, but both those conferences appear to be every bit as good as the NCHC this year (which no Sioux fan worth their salt would agree with, of course).
  20. They will have to be very good this year. HE and B1G are looking very strong.
  21. It was a clean game on both sides.
  22. It's inevitable that teams will devise good strategies against methods that have been working, especially against 1-ranked teams. Our guys will adjust to those strategies too, given time. This team has learned a lot about themselves in a short time.
  23. That thought has crossed my mind, though I think this is a pretty tight team. Noticed also that Perron often points immediately to primary assist after scoring. I like that kid too. He'll make some major noise for us before long.
  24. He's starting to rush the puck out of pressure more, too. Signs of Stecher, which someone here observed a week or two ago.
