One thing is for certain: If Spicer had become ineligible at UND, some fans would wonder out loud how the head coach could let that happen.
-
I know we're all supposed to say what the team must do this weekend, but I'm coming up blank. Practically no one wants them to be swept, but there are all kinds of other good possibilities. '
-
A LOT of fans start with the final score and work backwards in their assessment.
-
Very few experienced fans refer to this team as "a bunch of kids," and I've never heard a fan complain that we just beat up on a bunch of kids after a W. Some years, it's a legit recruitment tool, especially with the portal. The Ralph should always remain a destination for young hockey talent.
-
They should play Minot in the Lumberdome on cold day in early January.
-
I'm sure they did. Being able to only sit and watch when your personal sense of accomplishment is at stake makes ledgies of us.

Emery is apparently not an English major.
-
Especially when we don't win the first faceoff.
-
That looked like a concentration lapse. Doesn't take long.

He has, although he's been giving up quite a few rebounds.

USA has a player named STIGA. Guy's never out of position.
-
Not perfect but very good. Hedquist looked good.

You from Ann Arbor? Those are dangerous words with any opponent. -
I think we all feel that, even when our team is the victim. Both CC and UND are, after all, Davids in the world of college sports.
-
Very. And Denver too.

Communications at a (tier 3?) college is definitely not a difficult row to hoe. At any rate, he is a freshman, so he is taking 100-level courses. It’s not the degree or the school; it’s him. That said, he wouldn’t be the first young person who floundered out of the gate, including many who successfully turned things around after maturing a little.

And things better continue to go well. When the staff recruits chippahs, and these kids play a full 60, play Sioux hockey, and continue to win games, my own kids look more acceptable to me, my retirement seems more secure, and my religious convictions stay strong. But if what happened against CC continues, I’ll be looking for a ledge. And it won’t be easy to find a good spot on it either. -
That was my hunch as well

I read in an article prior to this season quoting Brock saying that he was not satisfied with last year and that he intended to increase his focus on the game this year. Very humble guy, it seems.

He seemed to come out of nowhere as a freshman, but you could tell right away he had a shot like we hadn't seen much of at UND in recent years. He plays hard and has learned a lot, IMO, about being a team leader. Hope he stays healthy the rest of the year, for his sake and for fans of UND hockey. -
Heil struggling a little?
