Maybe it's clear from those stats, but are those for equal games played/years?

Woo Hoo! Big Friday night W, baby! Looks around as the party grows quiet.

I just hope the players don't quit as easily as some fans do.

The top team in the land visits the Ralph. Denver @ UND

UND seems to be a one-hand-on-the-stick team. I get that it’s a common way to check, but I wonder if it doesn’t cause players to coast and reach more often. -

Hard to know: We won't see a good share of them. -

Not that long ago, didn’t UND sweep DU home and away only to see DU go on to win the natty? -

Might be a good place for a Hammer comment. That guy seemed, on one hand, to be from another planet that did not have hockey. But he was enthusiastic and appeared to be working hard at prep, despite his awkwardness. His unintentional non sequiturs and verbal gaffs were gold. -

Definitely. Others are improving, though. Inexperienced camera work used to be the norm, and poor camera work in hockey can make the game unwatchable. The clumsy production work like we saw last weekend in Duluth is not as bothersome. I lived in hockey starved areas of the country 35-45 years ago, and following the Sioux used to mean finding a newspaper (actual, in-your-hands paper) that provided scores and stats or, in some cases, phone calls. No world wide web, and hockey had just not gotten to some cities and areas of the country. We are spoiled now big time. -

I should have specified good satire. I freely admit to a lot of bad satire, which is not worth anyone's time unless they have too much of it. -

No, please don’t turn literal on us; we get enough of that. Satire, irony, nuance— all forms of indirect humor or sarcasm are refreshing and welcome. -

Good to hear, and welcome back. I assume you've been passing some debris pieces since the removal? -

In its last 6 games, BU has given up a shyt-ton of goals (average of something like 4.5). Nobody has scored more than 2 against DU yet this season. But, as many have pointed out, DU's competition has been mediocre. As many have also been saying (over and over), however, UND plays like garbage most of the time, with limited and misleading stretches of competency. Can they beat DU? I suppose it is theoretically possible. It would help if UND were a religious school. -

Tuesday. Still 3 more days to believe DU can be beaten by a sorry bunch of grindahs who don't know how to play a full 60. -
Stiga hockey with 5 min periods using a windup kitchen timer. Intense fun. That pass from the winger to the center crashing the goal was the key. D man had to play that just right or the winger would put a backhand shot on goal.

No way Berry’s Bunglers beat a Carle-coached team unless Carle intentionally loses so his team doesn’t win the dreaded Penrose Cup. -
Yeah, well, it's pretty widely known among well-informed college hockey watchers that Sandy spikes the visitors' water bottles. He knows his job's on the line, so he does whatever is necessary, from stealing top GF Central recruits to spiking water bottles. Some say it all started when he became close friends with gfhockey, who spikes everything, including his milk of magnesia.

Hawks @ Dogs - NCHC opener - right the ship or sink further into the abyss?
burd replied to brianvf's topic in Men's Hockey
Sandy can't continue being a loser--he's too much of a coaching genius. Dogs will be up 15 early in the third before the hosts show mercy and go straight time. He's that good. -
I'll bet they can only get canadian money, where a quarter ain't worth a dime . . .
