Denver must have passed on him. I haven't seen it in winter, but Cowichan Bay is beautiful in summer. But man, that kid and his family have taken their share of ferry rides to get to this point.
 -
	Really? Which ones?

File this with all those other hockey things I don't know, but wouldn't a former goalie have good insight on what to do to beat a goalie on a breakaway? What I'm saying is, "Wilbur, make sure you get travel time."

Let me hold on to my memory of what DW or GJ could do with a puck rather than what I'm likely to see an old man do (who's probably concentrating on not falling down).

The team played very well last night, but fans won't see 4 goals in the first 6 shots again in their lifetimes. There's not an 8-goal difference between last night's team and the one that lost to Mankato last Saturday.

It’ll be interesting to see what transpires in Denver tonight.

Hope it goes well. I had a 12mm stone surgically removed two months ago. Surgery was fine--still had to pass fragments for a couple of days. Good luck, FS4L.

Passing one? If so, some movement/exertion is good. It'll still hurt like hell, though. If it's a big or sharp stone, you probably have pain killers. A Sioux sweep would kill all your pain.

Yeah but. Flyover Grindahs v. Coastie Chippahs? No way. Ask any broadcasting crew that ever worked the FF. The UND Ledgies already have the cliche' complaints loaded and ready to send. Watch the World Series. Go out for Chinese. Do laundry. And if you absolutely must put some money down on this? If the over/under is less than 25, pick the over.

I was weaned on Earl Anderson, Jim Cahoon, Alan Hangsleben et al. Familiar names from the '70 team: Kleven (Red Lake Falls), Johnson (GF), Nelson (Warroad), Duncan (Calgary), and good ol' Tim O'keefe. I don't know the relationships between those names in later players.

	Parise fits both.

You've got this confused with the all-time weird lineup.

Yikes. Can a guy get in on probation? -
Don't know if I've ever seen a three-goal-swing on a call that was missed.

Is that strictly in calendar years, or do they check maturity level? I'd prefer to know in advance. -
It's OK to have sensitive spots.

HIre the best talent at both coaching and recruiting.

20% of profit, I assume. This will sound ignorant, but what is range for off-the-rack jerseys at the Ralph? I have no clue. -
MIchigan front-loaded when there were precious few programs and has been strictly mediocre since hula hoops. In terms of titles, if that is your measure of a top notch program. I still consider UMich a great program.

By the only metric that matters to you, Berry is the better coach by a score of 1 - 0.
 -
But then, it's always a thing of beauty when they score against CC.
 -
The question is how many of those goals by others were due to Blake's destabilizing effect and Gaber's sniping ability. Those two drew crowds.
 -
Does that (bolded) statement mean the same as "He gets the job done because he is better?"
 -
It would be nice to hear specific, rather than vague, often cliche' (like not playing a full 60) reasons as to why Berry or Hak before him isn't coaching like he should. For instance, I don't think I've ever heard criticism that (whoever is coaching) is often outcoached on line matchups, citing specific and not isolated examples. I'm guessing some coaches out there are just very good at that, especially keeping up with favorable matchups on the fly, not simply after a whistle. It's no doubt an inexact science, but I'm quite sure it's important and requires a lot of film preparation and some serious understanding of what players can and should not be expected to do. I don't have enough hockey knowledge to drive that kind of discussion, but it would be informative, rather than simple outcome criticism that plays more like fan poutage than it does criticism.
