I don't know about MUCH bigger, but I agree. Blkackhawks fans, who are an impatient bunch, get it how important Toews is even when he's not scoring. Jost was one of the best this program has had, IMO. But that isn't cause for despair. It's a credit to our program and will yield recruitment benefits in the future. Good opportunity for some guys to step up.

We were lucky to get him in GF for a year, so this can't be a big surprise to anybody, really. Hope he has the kind of success guys like Toews, Oshie, Parise, etc have had, so future recruits see us as a great preparation for the NHL. We'd like all these kids to be like Duncan, but that just isn't going to happen with the No 1s. Hope he lights em up.

Don't feel afraid to change your feelings about the team, the coaches, or any of the players. Just because you express your love, admiration and undying loyalty for all things Sioux (another subject) when they are winning, does not mean you can't call them all a bunch of lazy, useless, ungrateful, couldn't-play-a-full-60-minutes-if-their-lives-depended-on-it punks if they go down a goal. It's part of the Fans' Bill of Rights.

Yup. The tournament results are not that far off from what a multi-game format would have produced, with the exception of ND and UML. Should be a good FF.

DaveK is a child, but the B1G is not awful. Two teams finished above UND in the PW, OSU took Duluth to overtime on Friday, and Wisconsin is on its way back. Michigan will not be down for long. I'd love for it to be a joke conference too, but it isn't. Dang, though, it's nice to see them come up with zippo in the tournament.

They seem to match up well with most. Makes you wonder what CC had that enabled them to give Duluth such fits this year.

Wow, John, you will probably have to live with this one for a while. I can see why you think homophobic is an "advanced" word--you are certainly struggling with it. It's OK. Some people just have to work harder, even on the basic stuff. It doesn't mean you won't get there eventually. If and when you do, though, you will be a better person because of the struggle it took to get there.

I know we're supposed to be pizzed about UMD's style of play against us, but I'm pulling for them on this one.
