Nor sure heaviness means in today's game what it did even 10 years ago. It still has net-front presence value. Most predictions on the predictions thread seem to have us doing very well against ASU. But ASU is a very capable hockey team.

How much does the home ice factor come into play? Since ASU has the last change, does that affect lineup strategy? I mean, there’s always that well worn cliche’ “just play our game,” but it’s a little more complicated than that, isn’t it? But then, maybe not.

I imagine it depends to some extent on the other team's personnel, style of play, strengths, likely matchups, etc. I don't know squat about ASU.
