The goalie that played, Wesolosky, is a rookie. They rested their senior all-american for the playoffs. I can't be critical of that. UND has done that before (think back to Goehring ...) and it paid off in 2000. I just think we were all over them, skating wise, and don't think SCSU bagged it. I'm willing to give the credit to the SIoux for playing well.

There is still a possibility that Denver gets in as a #4 seed (just lose a couple more) which would presumably mean Notre Dame goes to #1 West and Minnesota or SCSU would then be the #1 in Grand Rapids. In that scenario, with the Sioux as a #2 or #3 seed, we might get sent to Denver. But if Denver stays a #2 or #3, then I agree its highly unlikely we go there.

It is and it isn't. To U of M, its free - 10,000 Sioux fans at $25 each = $250,000 of "incremental ticket revenue". To UND's athletic budget, yup.
