This "goal" is the same as the goal that UND scored vs Cornell that was waved off for a man in the crease. This should be waved off too.

Re Vanek - I just think that you have to be good on both ends to finish an NHL season at +47. (You also have to play a lot with some good players and matchups.) What I've seen on Versus suggests he's no longer a defensive liability.

And as DaveK says, some coaches will let guys get away with playing just one end, while others don't.
I'm going to go against the prevailing opinion, and say it was a textbook skate-in-the-crease call that waved off the Sioux goal. They got the call right, at least that one time.
Now, if they would clamp down on Cornell's stick work.
I'd really like to see Gregoire get some time on the powerplay with Duncan and Vandevelde. His hockey sense and puck skills are outstanding. Hextall is the better fit for 5x5.
