  1. Makes you realize how good someone like Gord Miller is at his craft - he bcasts 2-4 games a week, different teams/leagues - he didn't miss a beat last night.
  2. Best Burgers in St. Paul http://www.crnook.com/ 492 South Hamline Ave. St. Paul, MN 55116 You will not be disappointed!
  3. He did the same thing vs. Wisconsin.
  4. @chrismpeters Interesting development in Seth Jones Watch. Everett owns his WHL rights. RT @SNPatrickKing: Doug Soetaert out as GM in Everett.
  5. ... or your offense had the puck in the St. Cloud zone the entire weekend. low SOG = great defensemen is a lazy analysis.
  6. The way this season has gone, they both probably would have been injured.
  7. I wouldn't take that job - GM is probably on the way out, along with the interim coach, at the end of the year.
  8. When you get over 90 shots on goal over 2 games but only 3 goals, the issue isn't coaching. Our top 6/9 didn't get it done when it came time to light the lamp. Maybe the talent level is down over the past years - that's not coaching either. Re PK - every NHL/college/good HS team runs a form of a 1-2-1 vs an high umbrella PP. Watch our team next game.
  9. Attendance/$$$ is King!! They would be silly to hold it anywhere but the TC.
  10. It's produced by Public TV = Licence to print money. WDAZ/WDAY is a bare-bones operation re: budget.
  11. I will remember that the next time you second guess the pros.
  12. Anyone else confused about how this injury was handled? Why in/out of the lineup vs. getting him 100% healthy? I guess this proves it wasn't worth it to push it, even if it was his idea. Strange.
  13. Via Twitter: @Smatteau23: Signed letter of intent @MilesKoules looking forward to it.. @UNDMhockey just got bigger
  14. ... but you become easy to play against when you are either sitting in the penalty box or when you're out of position and leave your teammates vulnerable while you run someone.
  15. Although I do enjoy the rivalry, I would have preferred to delay the scheduling a few years, just to spite Wisco AD Barry Alvarez. He was the driving force behind the BTHC, which created all the conference chaos. It would have been nice to see him scramble to fill the Kohl center for a few years without UND, Denver and UMD coming to town. Barry did not want to “lower” his standards and have his Badgers playing schools like Bemidji State and Makato State on a regular basis. … and no, it was not TV that drove the BTHC – if the BT Network wants more hockey, there is nothing stopping them now from scheduling 1-2 games a week on their network – they now have the right of first refusal for all Gopher games – the rest go to FSNorth. We would be able to play a strong national schedule, like we always do, and avoid the Big 10 schools for a few years, just for a little payback.
  16. What about Oilers? Not my idea but I like it.
  17. @SchlossmanGF @StayaSioux @goon48 Not 100 percent sure what happened. Maybe Clearinghouse? He won't be coming this year. Any thoughts?
  18. Genoway was exciting, determined and gutsy. However, he was not a puck mover in the sense of finding the open man and getting him the puck. This was especially noticeable on the power play. This is understandable, being a converted forward. Forbort, Simpson, Mattson, and Gleason will do just fine.
  19. I don't think he saw the ice for either run. Quote is accurate - context is wrong.
  20. BTHC = more cupcakes like Penn State, OSU and MSU to feast on. On the other hand, the way things have been going, UMTC could be the cupcake feasted on
  21. Re: fans rooting against us - it is natural for unaffiliated fans to root for the underdog. Take as a compliment that the great University of Michigan is considered the underdog when playing UND.
  22. Best players not coming thru to this point
