The only thing laughable on this site are the Whioux fans delusions about what took place this past weekend. The Whioux were getting blown out at home to their arch rival so naturally they decided to goon it up.

It may seem like sandbagging, but the Gophers have been playing averge hockey for a couple months now. Im honestly not confident in even splitting although I still can't wait to get up to Grand Forks. It's my favorite weekend of the year.

Putting Wisconsin ahead of Minnesota is laughable. The Gophers have dominated the head to head 155-86-20. In fact Minnesota has a winning record versus all four programs on that list.

Guertler, Cammaratta, and Fasching all committing in a short time frame is as good a recruiting run as I've ever seen the Gophers have. But you're exactly right, what matters is how long they stick around and how much they develop.

Good point. Although that streak should hopefully come to an end this year but a lot can happen before the end of the year. Just three years ago I think the Gophers went up to the Ralph in January ranked top 5 nationally, got smoked and didnt end up making the NCAA's so even though the team looks good now I'm not assuming anything.

Not that it matters since the Big Ten wont have a neutral site tourney, but what makes you convinced that the X would rather host a tourney consisting of UND, CC, DU, SCSU, etc compared to a tourney with Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Michigan State? Attendance obviously wouldn't be an issue with The Gophers there.

If an opposing fan whined about it you would tell them to stop being a cry baby and quit taking penalties. But this involves the Gophers so you of course take the opposite view.
