why does it seem like everybody thinks malone is one of the players that will have to compete to get playing time? EDIT: maybe not everybody...
-
yeah, the first one didnt actually bother me too much, i was just saying. but i still doubt that we will have another acronym line unless its DOT: PART DEUX!
-
thats absurd and a tad bit blasphemous as well(although that doesnt bother me really). i think that genoway isnt top line material yet. i think that the guy that competes for the top line spot is going to have to work his ace off to get there. i think forney(after healing up)or kozek have the best shot. or perhaps miller or watkins or malone, who i havent ever seen. i think that the DOT line was likely the last(and first?) line in sioux history that was an acronym.

i agree. one other thing too. the loss of lee and toews would be a hit, but its probably better for the team of 2008 if they leave now. think if they stayed, next year they would lose toews, lee, oshie, chorney, maybe finley, maybe duncan, and im sure a couple others will have chances to sign too as well as a larger senior class. that is going to be a big freshman class. hopefully david toews, mike cichy, and eidsness, as well as other very high quality recruits will make up for the talent lost.
-
malone will be in next year, and i think hextall will duke it out for fourth
-
that doesnt mean anything. i skipped one of my classes for over a month last semester and im still here.
-
i would say lee, even though finley is huge for the team. finley is IMO a developer like boyle for BC, therefore i would personally put finley as a 3 or even 4 year player.
-
thats a sweet sig. i have to argue that we have 3/5 of the guys that would be a big hit.
-
i actually just saw this on GPL, and i didnt believe it...SWEEEET!! DO.......T?
-
when i went to school we didnt even have sheepskins, we had to pull out.

i think the situation with some of the sioux fans is disgusting. there are too many fans that bash players on a whim; this also happened with JPAR as well. last year lee was awesome, and people complained about how he sucked because he wasnt physical. this year he made an attempt to get more physical, and people think he sucks because there MAY have been a few plays that went bad at his expense. the fact is that there are 5 skaters on the ice and somehow lee always gets crapped on by fans. if your going to criticise players, do it with some tact...after all, they are sioux players. dont just talk about how the player sucks. also, people keep talking about lee's position of the 2005 draft. remember that teams are basing it on how well the player will be in a few years in many cases.

finley accelerated studies to be here, so hes young and chorney's dad is very pro college, and toews is likely gone...the only thing that makes me think he would stay another year is his age. also with finley, im fairly certain hes being looked at as a 3 or even 4 year college player because of his size.

or...is it possible that in some crazy scheme to actually make money espnu is broadcasted to more than 23 people??
-
hopefully after saturday you can change your sig for "the skate for eight" to something like "its time for nine!"
-
i think that the reason why anybody will stay is because they feel that they need to develop more, i dont think too many people stay to actually win a championship-as in that being the deciding factor.
-
i like how they win in them and also that they look good IMO. it was tough deciding which "yes" to pick fyi.
-
yeah, with older skates especially, they put them in an oven and then you wear them around to mold to your foot. with a lot of newer skates, they dont need an oven. but as aleah said, im sure he was using the gun to just dry them off
-
that would be sweet if someone could make that with the DOT line instead of elliott. i still think this one is cool though...i set it as my wallpaper
-
why would lee go pro when he is going to play for a nat'l championship in 1 week?? besides, i think that he will be a 3 year player.
-
at first glance that sounds like the kind of thing that he would tell press(like how players like to say they are coming back), im not saying it is not credible, though. i still cant believe the time its taking for this nash commitment. it would be interesting to find out after all this what the reasoning was for the lengthy process.
-
i think toews is the only goner, but im probably wrong. hextall could maybe be back at the bchl next year, but he is apparently an 07 and hamilton will take the spot that bishop left. maybe they will just have an extra player?

It's official: Duncan one of three Hobey Baker finalists

im glad hensick is out...hes a bit of a clown. -
well said. its amazing how much people seem to "love" the sioux yet hate some of the sioux players. especially one of the best players on the team
-
duncan is not drafted and he will most certainly be a 4 year player...like spirko. i also dont really get the brian lee bashing here. he is a very good dman and i would be very surprised if he doesnt have an opportunity to sign. those that disagree...look at some other players who sign pro-lee would be an ahl'er for a little first though.
