i think pauk would be a loss, he is not a scorer, but he is still an asset to the team. and yes du has lost some major speed this offseason with dingle signing and corbin to graduation. if they would lose mannino to free agency, they would be in a serious hurtbag. even if they dont lose anybody else they are still going to miss playoffs again.

there is a rumor flying around lets go du that seabrook is going to the WHL. and the possibility of paukavich leaving too. i dont like du, but i almost feel sorry if both those come true.

i agree redwing77, hak doesnt control parise's play. if parise was hot against bc, we would have had a chance to go against UW. and the reason why a mature team started slow 3 years ago was because it was haks first year and the players took a while to buy into the system. each year there has been a legitimate excuse to a slow start. the finish in 05 was blocked because of mannino's rediculous play to go along with a hot DU. this will be the first year of no excuses, even though hak doesnt make excuses. this team will start off very well, and i would be surprised if they dont win the points race.

i think that if he gets to the FF again, there will be only a few clowns that will call for his head if a championship doesnt result. you never know what this team will look like come playoffs or what kinds of teams und will run into. if und has a regional like last years, it is very possible that a FF wont even come. im not saying your bashing hak, but i think that it will be only a few people that will complain.

i think thats BS. look at some of the best coaches and their first few years. hak is in an elite group so far. people seem to forget that nodak is not the only team in contention each year. also...dont we have league titles hung?

even though lapoint is a similar player to lee, i dont think he will be bashed. i think that lee was bashed because he never really seemed to enjoy his time here. anybody else think this too?

my guess is that they will extend his contract. the ONLY possible way they wouldnt is if blais were to come in instead. that is HIGHLY unlikely. Hakstol is an awesome coach, and this will be the first year that he doesnt have tons of offseason losses. it should prove interesting. also, does anybody know what hak makes? i would think it would be under the state salaries...

i think that the atmosphere is too watered down at the ralph to try something like this and be successful. also, would everybody where a green jersey or would there be free shirts? if they could charge like $40-50 more and give a green jersey of choice size. that would be cool. not going to happen.

thats possible too. the same things were said of bishop when he came in...how he was such a quality guy in every department. which he was, but he was not happy sitting. davidson said he knows he will have to earn time, but it may come pretty late with the classes that are coming in now.

i was looking at that 08 class myself last night too. assuming gleason comes in 08, there will be 8 guys coming in. none of which would be delayed, unless maybe Hextall(but i doubt it). there will be 4 seniors gone in lammy, radke, kaip, and bina. and 4 very possible departures in oshie, duncan, finley, and chorney. and that would be 4 dmen leaving and 2 coming in. something more will happen with this class. also... there is a possibility that kozek could sign too.

i think radke is a good player, but he is very undisciplined. he takes a lot of penalties away from the play. hopefully that changes this year.
