i think its worth it...you get to see the locker room, weight room and other stuff too. bring your cameras if you do go. you cant see the stuff in the basement by yourself. also the guy that gives the tour says basically everything cost 1million...i dont buy that...i think they say that to make people ooh and aah.

thats true, you wouldnt want UND to give out 3 scholarships to goalies. it sucks that lammy was injured, but he will find solidity soon. grieco is more a strong soph. in my eyes. you have to think that they would have normally brought him in for parise next year.

do you mean for 08? i hope they get on the ball and pick up a great goalie for that year...but i have not heard much besides chris rawlings, who is putting up very average stats this year.

obviously, i have to agree with toews being gone. oshie, i have voiced my opinion before, but i think he will be 3 years here...a hunch(even thought he's good enough). chorney and lee are possibilities for gone. i dont think either will leave until next year though. of course i am a little biased with sioux optomism. if i was to look a umtc, i would say okposo, wheeler, johnson, goligoski, and maybe stoa too...will all be gone(just to show the diff)

i disagree with tj being gone...but thats also wishful thinking too. i would expect him to be gone in 2008, which would make way for david toews...who the sioux will probably do almost anything to get in green. chorney and lee as 3 year players too. 2009 will be a big recruiting class and i expect it to be full of talent...much like the 2005 recruits that are now sophomores. Edit: also finley i see as a four year player, much like boyle of BC.

the sioux will definitely be looking for a win. they also will get some fresh legs out on the ice too. i expect lammy to play and grieco to split time. bottom line: sioux by 2 goals(no empty netter)

I thought it is worth a new topic to give fabian some of the respect that he is due. i think that UND is priveleged to have a quality player like fabian. he works his butt off all the time and i always hear that he is a real class act. this update from schlossman is just one example. http://www.areavoices.com/undhockey/

while i was looking at the CSB site, i noticed that cj severyn is an uncommitted A list player...but i dont know if he would want to wait for 08 to come here(which would be the likely case). i also dont know if UND is even in the running for him either...just thought i would throw that out there.

the CSB has him at 6'3'' and 212...also travis erstad is listed as an A player and hes visited here im pretty sure.

i think that the u18 team is somewhat cleaned up...in terms of good recruits. plus, UND appears to be full for 07 now. it would be wise for UND to keep cleaning the u17 team out though , since they are really going to need a number of 09 recruits(like 8-10 probably).

cheverie is a DU recruit for 07 and im familiar with the others you listed...i guess im just getting greedy with the recruits UND is getting recently. I know this may not happen, but it would be sweet to get a goalie that was a high draft pick...like a jimmy howard or cory schneider or something(i know howard was WAY better than schneider though). im just bored i think.

does anybody know if there are any goalies that UND is looking at for 08? are there any alex stalock types out there?

is it just me or has UND's last 6 recruits been stellar?!?! kristo, cichy, malone, bruneteau, hextall(maybe not stellar but should be very solid), and now blood. im liking what i see. next up david toews. I also am hoping that UND will be able to land some good ones from the u18 game...

agreed on HC game...best game ive ever watched...i get into a yelling match with the UM fans two rows in front of us. that place exploded when the OT winner was scored...loudest by far. I get a warm feeling inside when i think that it may have been the cheering for HC that got them the win...that little extra 'something' that kept them going strong.

michigan is usually overrated, last year they shouldnt have even made the playoffs. still a hard game though. they are not consistent in goal with sauer. msu will be more difficult. as for the rankings, they have to be a somewhat equal for each conference...i mean look at wisco, they arent even ranked now. thats bs, they are still a top 15 team in my opinion.

i know im not the only person who thinks this...quit complaining. they always have a rocky first half, then peak later. get used to it...its the best way to win the championships. every year a huge over-blown discussion by a few losers starts on how we should fire hakstol, and that the team sucks. cry about it. by the way, this is directed at a minority(i think) on this board and off it as well. Edit: i forgot to make sure that people know that i realize that many are joking about this, but the few that are serious is what gets me.

this is starting to look like the last two years to me(how people are wondering about the siouxs ability), and to those people, you have to remember that its better to peak late and go onto wins in the ncaa playoffs than it is to peak early like minnesota and lose to holy cross. this team has very good potential and i think looks better overall at this point than last years team. Edit: also if your a fan of the team, dont bash them...i hate that when people bash their own team. be optomistic.

well that was not the expected game, but im also not surprised(AA would suck to play at midnight). as i said...hunch. but it is because we have put him off a year(im not sure if he was supposed to come this year) to the ushl again and the fact that if he is going to be on scholarship(which i doubt) there would be better players to fill that. im just speculating because it happens every once in a while. UND has 7 dmen for next year all returning and unless you move genoway to forward, marto would make 8(assuming lee and chorney stay). why would marto want to come to UND and get little playing time if any? this is all very unscientific and based on assumptions, but thats where my "hunch" came from. i was sort of wondering if anyone else felt like marto is being continuously pushed back...
