i honestly dont think that he has a choice, most of the best schools are going to be full at d next year. the sioux hopefully are in the running for 08 though. also im thinking that bruneteau will come in 07 if we have oshie leave(im optomistic he stays). and i think that marto is not going to be seen in green and white...just a hunch, nothing against him.

if it is blood then it would be safe to assume that he would be a 2008 recruit(89 born i believe). blood would be a sweet pickup...and i agree with azsioux that is a SWEET bonus on the name. the only name i could think of that would be more bada$$ would be "death"...which wont happen.

thats a good point, and some nhlers that are very good were not the best college players either. im very anxious to hear who this supposed hot pickup is, be it nash, bruneteau or toews or whomever.

i noticed that bruneteau isnt on the list...that sort of surprises me, given the talk around him. nash is an A player though, and so it derek lee... EDIT: John Lee....not derek, my bad.

i dont think forney would want to redshirt, he will be good by xmas for sure...judging by the fact that he has already played some games. maybe forney is 100% and just didnt go...?? also, i dont think martens was injured, that was brad miller. martens played 2 games or whatever because he needed to develop another year.

plus chris is wrong sometimes too. remember before kristo committed, he said that you can expect him to go to minny...hmm. also, he was completely in the dark when cichy committed here...even though schlossman said that he was expecting it for a month or so before cichy did commit. chris is right on alot of stuff and he has a great site, but he definitely does not update the recruits list much. also kristo and cichy both wear UND apparel...ok, im done.

holy crap...i think everyone is reading into the "TREE" message from hakfan. the only thing that i am thinking is that it is a real quality recruit...maybe erik johnson is transferring to UND!? i would honestly guess nash or bruneteau. not blood, hes a dman(we are full of d for next year). time will tell.

agreed...these are must wins. help in getting the wcha title. uaa is tough though, they are off to a solid start. im thinking that the bye will help UND win these. also i would expect to see grieco and lammy to split time too.

the bold WCHA could be a typo, but mario is going to n. michigan...of the ccha. anyway, marto has been thought of as what you said for the most part...im guessing that he will be a 7th dman for a year or two...just a guess though. nick petrecki is supposed to be really good, as you said...he could possibly go in the top 5 of the NHL draft next year, and he is also committed to boston college. you may have known all this, but i thought id type it anyway...im bored.

whats with murray not getting any love in the recruiting game? hes obviously doing well at ssm. the only things im thinking are that people are skeptical of him making the next step or that he may be small(i havent seen him in action though...just possibilities). i would like to see murray here.

well given that it was just a question and also, if im not mistaken this is prospective sioux recruits. if a 1990 born kid can commit, then why cant a 92 have some POSSIBLE inclination of where he is going? again...it was just a question...im terribly sorry if i deeply hurt or offended anyone.

when you say that you know him(thats what i read it as), do you mean that you personally know him? or have you just seen him a lot. and if you do know him, does he talk about what he plans on for college or whatever?

as always, a nice game post azsioux.... i have a few thoughts on the game....i like the idea of spreading the dot line out...everybody plays better with those guys around them. also, i think grieco will have a better weekend...even though he might be jittery at home for the first time and going up against bobby. expect a hard nosed sioux team tonight!

you forgot maybe not...i personally think he will play on saturday(only because hak said probable), i am not optomistic because hes playing with a no hit jersey 2 days before gameday.

hopefully UND can start to pick up some big names recruits from the nhl too i agree, its cool to see UND getting wealth from all over

UND has 3 seniors (all LW) and toews leaving (LW). trupp, hamilton, malone, and hextall cover those. then marto and lapoint (both LD) are coming in...im thinking that means lee is gone, and maybe they are trying to bring in one more d man to make 8 on d for the roster?? of course genoway can play d or f. so what im getting at and i agree with I Ranger, where do we have room? its a good possibility that oshie is gone too, but that is only one more recruit need (maybe nash?). and some people here are talking about landing bruneteau, nash, and gregoire!? who elso would leave? if im missing something, please let me know, but it looks like UND has room for 1 more in 07, not 3. EDIT: i just realize maybe the "order" of those signings is from most likely to least likely....my bad, if thats the case, then excuse my rambling

i have to say i get real tired of people complaining about not getting good enough recruits... and uw and umtc fans saying that UND is lagging...anyway. i am optomistic on cichy coming here. and yes that is awesome to see some hot talent committing

another thing is that at schools like minny, they place a lot of emphasis on regular season games. i think the players get somewhat burnt out, but at UND they do ok until the halfway, and then haul into the playoffs.
