I would assume that would only be the case if one team won all of the games.
-
I guess I will defer to the coaches in college hockey that say he is a man amongst boys and that he is NHL ready. Any of his injuries could just as easily have happened at another level, one of which did against many players that have played pro hockey and played in the Olympics.

I believe Strinden is related to Earl Strinden, so not sure he would leave, but I also think that he will be here. Not sure on James, but I know the coaches communicate frequently with players on what they need to improve on, so I would assume they know what James' thoughts are about coming in or not next year. Even if Senden or Hain don't come back, not sure he will be set to come in for sure. I am sure when they recruited his teammate McGlaughlin, they had a plan in place, and if that included James waiting another year, I am sure they told him.

Not saying that is the case here, because I believe that Lorenz will be a good player, but Singleton could as well. Jack Works hasn't exactly been a stud for Denver, and even if he was putting up points for them, I wouldn't trade Louis Jamernik for him.

Unless UND loses someone to pro hockey or someone entering the portal, I don’t see much room for both Hain and Senden to come back, as they would be pretty full at forward with the following possibilities. Costantini - Blake - Gaber McGlaughlin - Schmaltz - Calder Caulfield - Kunz - Strinden Senden - Jamernik - Hain Albrecht - Ness- Portz Montgomery - Budy

Are you saying gfhockey and Bonin21 on GPL are one in the same? Could be, neither one of them ever has any positive take on “their” supposed favorite team!
-
Well, next week the focus will be benefitting Omaha, so expect a lot of major reviews on UND. The stark penalty difference between Denver and the rest of the league certainly is substantial.
-
Before we go overboard the other way and declare UND National Champs, let’s remember we have had a lot of good fortune in our run, a lot of which has been deserved with our intensity. The two goals that Western put in their own goal let us play from the lead and that is huge for this team. We have seen how big that and goaltending is during the one and done tournament, so hopefully we can continue down that path. We have seen how that can turn on a dime though, so we definitely need our difference makers back and have the rest of the team continue to play in desperation mode.

2021-22 University of North Dakota Hockey Season

Agree, this time of year defense will probably win out. Since Ferner and Johnson will most likely be the 7th defenseman when everyone is healthy I could see them splitting games and playing as the game situation dictates. Regardless, it is great to get Johnson playoff type minutes this year after he was thrown into the fire because of injuries, rather than easing his way into the lineup early in the year like most freshmen. He could have the same trajectory as Cooper Moore, as both have great offensive upside, just needed some work on the defensive end. -
Meaning they never call it in high school?
-
So you’re saying the penalties weren’t warranted?
-
It sure will be fun to watch St, Cloud and Duluth fight it out for home ice next weekend, as I don’t see Western imploding against Miami.

2021-22 University of North Dakota Hockey Season

Heard Olson say they won tonight without 3 possible all league players in Gaber, Sanderson, and Frisch. -
Wisconsin gets beat by their biggest rival 13-0 on the weekend. Granato probably won’t be sleeping easy as far as his job security.
-
Could this be why Andy Murray left, or was encouraged to leave?

Let’s not hold his brother responsible for his actions. Don’t know that it is something to tease someone about, especially if he turned out to be innocent. Would guess there is some information that would lead the coaches and University to suspend him though. Hate to see hockey tarnished with these type of crimes. Would guess that Mitchell Miller would have been a bigger distraction because of his past. You hope to recruit character guys, but you never truly know what type of individual you have, and to think he was their captain.
-
With all those guys they have pilfered from us, makes you wonder how we can ever beat them!
-
Plus they said Senden got married, or is getting married, so that could make a career move more likely.
-
But in the same token, we would have made room for Logan Cooley, so you should be able to make room for a difference maker that has already proven themselves. Cooley could likely be the same situation as a one and done, and will most likely have some growing to do on the defensive end, and it is no guarantee he will rip it up against older guys on the offensive end either. I get what you are saying, especially with using it as a stop gap, but if you find a guy that can score 15-20 goals and transform your power play and plug him into your lineup, you certainly have to take a look, as long as you have done your due diligence on whether he fits the culture and isn't going to be a polarizing person.
-
I'm guessing if Berry wants to bring Senden and Hain back, there wouldn't be a lot of room to dip in the portal and still bring in the guys in juniors that need to be here. Hopefully guys like McGlaughlin and Blake can make an immediate impact, as we could use some offensive punch to go along with the units we have coming back, although I am guessing that Kunz and Schmaltz will become more consistent next year.
-
So who do we bring in to replace Sanderson?
-
Schlossman with retweet showing Tri City traded Benoit for another older defenseman to help them win now. The other guy is a Michigan State recruit. May suggest Benoit may not be ready to come in next year. Interesting to see who might come in next year.
-
I'm talking about Jason McLean @Fargolawyer that responded to Schlossman's Olympic post.
-
Hope that guy isn't really a lawyer. Would hate to have someone like that as my lawyer with such tunnel vision and lack of common sense.

Yes, them and volleyball.
