One coach took over for a guy who was fired and one took over for one who retired. Think there may be a difference in what was inherited? UND football was pretty !@#!$ when Miss was fired, can we agree on that? I don’t really know how to compare the playoff situation with you. UND choked vs Richmond but the game was still a second round game.

It’s not hard to clean up. Do what other area schools do. School sponsored, random drug tests. Fail one, warning. Fail two, bye. Players need to get on board. This is real life, big boy stuff. Time to learn lessons and leave the parents at home.

If there is any hope for playoffs next season, 8 wins needs to be the target. Mississippi V is a little easier to stomach when they are being followed up with Washington and Sam Houston. Can’t question the non conference schedule.

Cam Hunt played well after getting healthy. I really think one, maybe two immediate contributors (have to hit on one) and a couple developmental guys. I think Rastas can give spot reps, especially in obvious passing situations.

For the bigger schools yes. But the kids that will round out some of those classes are FCS kids. How many hold out for bigger offers?

A few members of their media don’t exactly ask the hard hitting questions either. A bit easier to keep things close to home. I think the program learned a lesson around the Sam Ojuri incident.

It will be interesting to see how kids do sign early. In some regards getting a higher offer if that’s what a kid wants may be easier now if FCS level kids don’t sign in december. I think there will still be a lot of talent left after December with kids that want to take some official visits but certainly getting kids up in the summer to try and land early commitments will become more important than ever. I can certainly see why there are offers out to juniors already

He would be an kid that looks like he has the size and is physical enough to step in and play. You can’t help but chuckle at the first 90 seconds of highlights.

I don’t judge a lot of kids based on highlight tapes but if you have time watch his above. He hits like the Waterboy. Tackling Fuel.

Don’t call me Shirley. I really think if you look at the different body type of o and d linemen the last two classes (last year and commitments this year) the coaches know we need to be bigger and better in those spots. Bigger at OLB and more athletic in the slot It’s not going to happen over night and I don’t think the coaches would lie and tell you they missed on a few recruits in their first full class Having some kids not show up or decommit late hurt that class I don’t fully count Bubbas first recruiting class pulled some athletes but Faison drug his feet too long that year Tough to recruit a class starting late December when your staff isn’t in place yet

I actually think there is an understanding of what the team needs to look like. Just need to continue recruiting that type of player and build depth.

My point is your trying to boost a staff based on an 8-3 season that had 3 wins over D2 or lower teams. And than another poster, tries to justify the season not by wins, but a quality loss. Be happy with the year you guys had but don’t try and make the staff more than what it was.

Your comparing it to 8-3? The year we had Sioux Falls, Montana Western and Black Hills on the schedule. Get a clue.
