The guys playing are physically not ready I play. There are times they are in the right spots but should be a year or two away from playing this many minutes.
-
But he tackle was made and UND scored. It’s part of the game. I’m sure tackles and some plays were missed both ways

So is the diversion a state project or mostly funded as a local project? The Fargo city commission has been ramrodding projects through for a few years. Also, while there are current projects being built in Fargo, a lot of the private projects are beginning to slow. Not much of lending going on in that area now. Honestly, from a 72 mile view, Grand Forks' problem has been the good old boy network in city gov't.. An example of that would be keeping Sanford out of town. They have brought more to the city of Fargo and NDSU than any business in town yet UND keeps them out.

We will get what we are willing to pay for.

SDSU is playing with a bunch of freshmen on defense. While they have two NFL guys in offense, they can’t stop anyone on defense and will likely face an early playoff exit. Weird.
-
Rastas’ issue isn’t mental, he just physically is not ready to play 60 snaps. He’s not physically ready to play 10 snaps. Really like the effort and attitude though.
-
yeah Pretty big offseason coming up. Can’t tell me no one one the team knew about guys dealing. Someone needs to get the focus where it needs to be. Coaches can’t do it all.

If any players jump ship after this season do you really want them around? I would hope there is a group of underclassmen ready to prove this year was a fluke, not looking to jump ship when things get tough. I think a long hard look needs to be given at captains and leadership from the players. Assign them right when the season is done and get to work. With the late buy week and no playoffs we will have about an additional month of winter workouts. S&C should be planning now.

Haven’t really seen any excuses today.

Yes I was actually. Routinely got strep throat every spring and late fall. One spring was so bad it caused me to lose about 20 lbs. i don’t know details of Haas but you have been dropping hints of something more for a few weeks. You have been right in the past and are obviously connected to the locker room so if you know something say it. Continuing to drop passive hints that something is wrong with him does nothing more than continue to divide.
-
While it’s rare when #31 lost 15 lbs being sick it’s not unreasonable to think others couldn’t pick that up. I thought I saw him today too. I looked for him after the hints you’ve dropped about him the last couple weeks.

I watched Tank today and he lived and died by back dooring his blocks. It was hard stretch plays and he did not maintain his gaps. The plays he made were great but when he didn’t make them his gap was uncovered. I love the way he plays. At times today he was the only one on our defense playing with intensity. I think who ever told him to lose weight this year was crazy. Not nearly as effective as last year at taking on blocks. Needs to put the weight back on this year. That goes back to S&C.

We got gashed on the ground today. They were consistently in 2nd and 5 or 4. No one on the d line played really good today.
-
Yuck. Anyone on our team that can finish. Great we outplayed them, what do we get for that?
-
Make the pay appropriate for the expectation and you will get the right candidates. Like anything, you get what you pay for. Its been awhile since I could say this about a UND president but I have faith in Kennedy that he knows what he wants for this position.

He's 67, if he wanted to retire it's great on him. He did some very good things here and earned the retirement and possibly the time to spend time with the replacement. UND is switching conferences in the coming year and will be an affiliate in another, I am sure there is some benefits of Faison spending time with a replacement. If he wanted to stay, good for Kennedy saying maybe its time you move on. Your 67 and while you did great things in the past, I have a different vision as president. I'm in camp two. Kennedy has a vision for the athletic dept. and its good he wants to bring in someone who shares that vision. If he also used any feedback from the interviews of others in the staff, even better. Money well spent. Thank you Mr. Faison for all you did for UND. As a sports fan I think this is an exciting time for UND and I hope they turn over every rock in looking for the replacement. If Kennedy truly sees athletics as a window to the university (which I agree with), he can't miss on this hire.

There is a difference?

Go outside the old guard and find some fresh blood.
-
That is our 4 best DBs (nothing against Chuck Flowers as he has played well lately) and our two best LBs.
-
In the eyes of the committee it's actually all about quality losses
-
He won't. Cause he has blinders on. NDSU has been very good this year but based on this year along, eye test or otherwise USD has been better.
-
Now take away an all American safety and corner. Put another 3rd stringer next to him starting and a converted safety at the other LB spot. Not even the same ballpark comparison. I'd compare him to plugging Grady into our OL last year or Santiago the year before. Other pieces around so they don't have to do everything.

Lol. Any team that had this many starters out would go from a favorite to a bottom feeder. Other teams have really good players too. We have guys who were #3 in the depth chart last spring at some positions players 50+ snaps a game. Those guys should be special teasers getting the occasional rep. Im sure you are smart enough to understand the trickle down this has when you go through a whole game. The reason of the injuries is another discussion though
