  1. I can tell you what I wouldn't do. I wouldn't make the comments that Gene made last night trying to make the kids seem like the victims and I wouldn't have told the media that you believe the court process should play out, even though you didn't let the process play out a couple weeks prior with another player on the team who has yet to go to court. I know you have the Green and Gold glasses on but take them off for one second and take a look at how this looks from the outside. Its winning above all else.
  2. Thats what I was thinking. It was 6 years ago. Do you really want to compare the last 6 years of Bison football off the field incidents? Some Bison fans trying to justify that this is all ok is worth the read. Your AD and coach have put winning in front of everything else. Admit it and move on.

If it's Mannausa it must be another Wisconsin kid?? Hopefully we hear a name.
  4. Look guys, the attendance isn't going to change overnight. The fans who have gone to the games can see we have a damn good football team that has improved tremendously since last year. But we lost a lot of casual fans during an average transition which was below average at the beginning. From the team standpoint, they are doing everything correct right now to get interest back in the program. A blowout over SD School of Mines was not going to catch anyones attention. This win vs. Portland St will. I'm expecting attendance to continue to improve as the season goes along.
  5. Well, someone has to watch them. Their coach and AD do a pretty good job at looking the other direction.
  6. The didn't even try to get signitures so whether they were wearing their jersey's is a pretty mute point.
  7. Great post. If the team keeps playing offense like last night, it will give fans a reason to stick around. Just my opinion. It will take fans a little time to realize this is not the offense from the transition and it is so much fun to watch.
  8. Any word on Daryl Brown's injury. Portland St. got very aggressive in the passing department when he went out. I'm not saying they would have had less than 300 yards passing if he played the entire game, but his absense was very noticeable.
  9. There are more than a few with Ducks Unlimited that are not very impressed with the Bison athletic dept.and NDSU in general right now. Just caue Gene said "this is over", the stink isn't leaving Fargo anytime soon. Like I said, good to know its ok to enter NDSU as a boy and its perfectly acceptable to leave as a criminal as long as you win football games.
  10. Is this kid serious? Its good to know that in the NDSU program it is ok for players to come in as kids and leave as charged criminals and it is perfectly ok according to their coaches and their AD.
  11. Great win tonight by the team. Our offense has a lot of weapons on a night our O-line play was average. Marcus was the man tonight. His play was great and our WR shook the early jitters and just made plays. I was glad to see Golloday play tonight as much as he did. On defense, we have some work to do. I haven't heard was D. Brown's injury was. Hopefully nothing serious. We need our front seven to get pressure to help out our dbacks. PSU's qb had some time back there. Still, the D made plays when they had to and man they can be physical. The bogus personal foul call on the hit to the qb was about as loud of a hit as I have heard. Special teams- Coach Kotelnicki has these guys rolling. 3 blocked kicks tonight and none against us vs. about as good of a special teams unit we'll see in the conference. We were so close to breaking a huge kickoff return as well. Minus the missed FG, these guys all get an A+. Another great turnout by the students and they were loud in the first half. Thanks to all of you who read this board and who showed up and set the tone. Hopefully the players let everyone know how much they appreciate it and it continues when the team returns in a few weeks. This team has a ton of potential. Didn't play great tonight and beat an above average Big Sky team. I agree with the earlier poster who said we'll see more running backs like this in the future and that is a concern.
  12. Funniest part of the night was when I was driving back from Grand Forks after the game listening to a national college football radio show. They are announcing some scores and they announce Sac. St over Colorado and mention Sac. St is an FCS program. Next they announce NDSU over CSU and follow the score up with "North Dakota St. playing this game using 9 players who were charged in a voter fraud case in North Dakota earlier this week." I about spit Mountain Dew all over my windshield. This is going to follow that program nationally for a long time.
  13. Must be tough when you need to be told what to do when your job is to get signitures on petitions.
  14. Well, going off the article todayl, either Bohl didn't have that same conversation with these guys or more than likely he just overlooked it to have them elgible for this week. Article today made it pretty clear that all of them admitted the two stars of the team forged more or the same amount of signitures that they went out and got. I bet the punishment will be harsh- next week when the team is playing Pravie View A&M junior high.
  15. I wanted to post a picture but the Bison are getting more national attention. Front page of ESPN.com- http://espn.go.com/c...tion-signatures
  16. This was my thought. All we heard all week was that Bohl had to have known about the case that is why he was holding off. Well, doesn't sound like guilt is a question.
  17. And also why Bohl wants to wait to let the legal process play out fo find out for sure if his players are truely "guilty".
  18. Well said. Set the tone for the rest of the stadium.
  19. Depends on how many yards he rushes for tomorrow.
  20. Well, while your beating you chest about supposedly being right, 9 of your current players and 12 players with ties to the Bison team have charges against them 13 if you include Jemison. Nice work.
  21. I wonder if Best Buy took the time to explain that stealing TV's was illegal or if one is just supposed to know better?
  22. Thanks for the update Bambino. Good news on Hanson. Possible return next week?? Also, I'm still surprised by Galloday. I know he has talent but with McGill and Hardin just both being consistent. The return of Ivery this week and Jackson bringing as physical style of play as there is at WR, were does Galloday fit in. I am looking forward to seeing him play cause he has to be something pretty special to be getting his shirt pulled.
  23. It was more an answer to your question. Why is there complete threads on your team fan board about everything UND? This item though actually has an affect on the state of ND. Two items won't be put to vote due to the actions of a group of people who were hired to do a job, 8 of those people were NDSU football players. I also answered your question as to what got me riled up. When fans of your team tried to drag UND into this or actually placed blame on them. If there was sarcasm involved with their comments I didn't see it. Also, Bison fans still drag Kristo into every conversation they have when a NDSU athlete gets in trouble. Trying to use an incident from 2 years ago to justify your players making the paper, which by the way has happened 3 times already in the last 3 months. Thats a pretty good average.
  24. Your right, I'm guessing there would be absolutely zero posts on this on Bisonville if the schools were reversed. I got angry when some posters on your board drug UND into it-either by saying it was a conspiracy or bringing up incidents at UND from 2-3 years back to try and justify this. Hell even Johnnyboy tried to drag Ralph into it to try to make a comparison. I know what to expect if I posted anything on Bville but the above opened the door for me to post about it here.
  25. I'm gonna put my glasses on and say we win by 4. UND-24 Portland St.-20 This will be a great measuring stick for our team and there is nothing wrong with facing a little bit of adversity already in the season with an injured QB and down one O-lineman. The D has to play big. Portland St. is going to try and establish the run and we have to limit that. We may have to leave our corners out on an island again like we did last year against Cal Poly, they have to be up to the challenge. The offense also has to move the ball. Three and out after three and out like last year is not going to cut it. I've been looking forward to this game to see how much we have improved from last year. Its going to be fun.
