UND is playing good basketball lately. Looking forward to the game and the battle of two pretty good back courts.

Really impressed with the effort tonight. Most impressed with the effort this team shows on defense. Haven't seen that in a while out of the men's team. Nice win. Good showing on FSN.

I went to the MSU game vs. NDSU a few weeks back in Fargo. I know its already been mentioned, MSU has a very good back court that makes them go. We should match up with them well. NDSU played very good team defense and slowed them down, hoping we can do the same. Also hoping we establish the post game and hit some free throws. Still haven't seen a Big Sky team we couldn't beat if we can get everything clicking and keep building some confidence.

That was my thought. You also can't argue the recognition it gives regionally.

His stock is going to depend on how he does in the week of the senior bowl or whatever bowl game he is playing in.

I'd bet the audience this story is targeting know both the UND and the NDSU name. No one outside Fargo or Grand Forks likely cares. Honestly, most people in Grand Forks or Fargo likely don't care. I don't feel an apology is needed. I find it funny it was there. Wondering where the UNI or SDSU flags were?

Not sure what they talked about before their fans brought negative attention on themselves. I don't follow what fans in Ohio are talking about just like no one outside ND cares about what fans in North Dakota are talking about.

While I don't agree with the entire conversation and don't think anything "funny" goes on in Fargo. How many NDSU players haven't sat out when breaking team rules, or the law? It's a program that's places winning above anything else.

One could argue that moving a football program to FBS will not cost to much more than staying FCS. Especially if FCS vs. FBS games continue to become harder to schedule.

It's unlikely it's that easy without a bunch of dominoes falling first. They (or any Dakota school) is anywhere near a bus ride for any conference out there.

I don't think it is NDSUs choice unless they want to be an independent. A conference needs to invite them and location is their (and all Dakota schools) biggest enemy. The Sunbelt already has issues with Idaho and any Dakota school will be on an island in the MAC or Mountain West as well. With FCOA, athletic depts are going to try and find ways to save money not spend more on travel. Just my opinion.

Jacksonville St's coach should have gone for it on their first 4th and less than a yard. They weren't going to beat NDSU in a defensive game.

I'd say he has not done anything to hurt himself. The key to his draft position will still be the week of the Senior Bowl. Don't want to take anything away from Carson but NDSU would still be leading by 21 with Stick at QB.

He is a potential first round draft pick and two time captain. He can hand off equally as well as Stick and is a much better threat to throw it. There may be some rust but you give him a shot as he was the starter and MVP of this game last year. I don't see how starting him has any bearing on their defense.

Bummer to see Coach Rodgers go. The secondary was improving but you can't fault a guy for wanting to return to his alma mater. Best of luck to him.
