Agreed. My thought at the time was playing for the sure FG….which we have all learned is anything but a sure thing.

And we still win if we commit to the run like Saturday. QB threw for a similar stat line.

I watched a playoff game last year where all he had to do was hand it off and his stats weren’t much better than yesterday’s QB and we lost.

We need to get to a point I’m not so nervous about Idaho St. Putting my confidence in Oregon St rushing for 300+ against them and NAIA Western Oregon going for over 100.

Actually feel the opposite and if we play them 10 times we win more than we lose. Watching their first half TDs it was a missed tackle a really poor fit by a LB. Not a ton of adjustments in the 2nd half, we just made plays when we got home. They have zero answer for our run game. Next adjustment is Romfo has to pull one on the zone read and than we need to get him outside the pocket. Play to his strength. Eventually he is going to have to throw, get him in position to have some success as throwing from the pocket clearly not a strength.

Great adjustments by the coaching staff. Just a tale of two halves with the staff getting the team settled in at half.

They have certainly had the same struggle we have with consistency from season to season.

You hope all these guys make it to signing day but looking at our WR recruiting the last few years, it’s really, really good. This kids tape is solid. Deng was at another level at state track. Looks different than every other high school athlete. Hakim from Shanley a couple years back is raw but has all the tools to be really good. I know there are others. Exciting to see some pieces to continue on after Bo’s final year.

It’s not a good look for the kid. Unless you are looking for something where did the program fail in this?

Why would SDSU, USD and SDSU make it easy on them and keep their other sports in the Summit?

SDSU and NDSU are the bar but winning a playoff game or two is the measuring stick??
