Wasn't it all about head to head last year? Now it's gauged on something else?
-
Zero trust in the Big Sky representative.
-
Bidding over Thanksgiving weekend is the risk.
-
But it's still better. A lot can happen in 3 weeks but I only see one MVFC team getting seeded.
-
Without a lot of things falling our way I just don't see a situation where we play anyone other than SDSU, USD or WIU. Even possibly UNI. And looking at the resumes of the top 8 teams, other than Charleston Southern I don't see anyone we should be ranked over at this time. Need a lot to go our way as most of those teams would have to lose multiple times in the last 3 weeks. Not just once.
-
I really don't see a big enough shake up happening in the top 10 for us to move into the top eight. I want to own the Big Sky title to ourselves. I don't see a scenario of the Big Sky getting two seeded teams and unless EWU collapses, they will own the seed for the Big Sky to themselves. The loss to Stoney or BG really will come back to bite us (assuming we win out). The biggest shake up that could potentially happen is in the MVFC as I see USD beating either SDSU or NDSU in the final three weeks. I also question Charleston Southern being there. What do you do if they lose to Liberty? They would be 7-3 with one of the wins being DII and wouldn't be a conference champion. Again, the quality loss to NDSU would come into play which is garbage. At the end of the day, we win this week vs. UNC and we are in, no question.

Bartles. Same offense except playaction instead of QB bootleg
-
In order for USD to get in they need to beat NDSU. NDSU has a difficult game upcoming vs Youngstown as well
-
In order for them to finish 6-5 they would have to beat SDSU. That would put SDSU at four losses. There will be a lot of shake up in the MVFC and the Big Sky in the last three weeks. It would be fun for UND to win out and be a spectator the final week.
-
The team needs to grind it out to the bye week. One cannot deny the benefit that would have right now. 9 weeks in a row plus four weeks of fall camp is a grind. That doesn't excuse the offensive, special teams and defensive miscues but it can explain the drop in play. And also The fact that Weber is a pretty good team.
-
Obviously it doesn't stop it but it makes it a little more challenging. Why don't they play music when UND has the ball?
-
May as well let the opposing coaches yell the plays in than.
-
Until fans understand it is ok to make noise on 1st and 2nd down they will do this.
-
Still not sure why we haven't seen #22 running the jet sweep or fake when #5 is in the backfield.
-
8 guys in the box and 3 keying on #22 and #5.
-
Ok that's it. So not throwing the first quarter couldn't let him throw it in the ocean in the 2nd?
-
What does being the 2nd or 3rd Big Sky team get? Either way we are likely going to play SDSU or maybe WIU. I would have rather had a game up in the conference but it really doesn't matter after the EWU win today.
-
The QB run has been part of our offense for two years now?? QB couldn't throw it and they were stacking the box. Some of Studs' runs were option reads. Some were calls to get an extra blocker. Something didn't seem right with Studs throwing the ball today. He was way off in the first half. I don't think he was healthy. Just my opinion.
-
He also has to call the game to get to 7 wins and a chance at 8, than 9. Sucks getting the QB hurt but to Oxbows point earlier Weber was putting 8 in the box. We weren't running great and Studs wasn't exactly tearing it up throwing the ball pre-injury. I think he was hurt coming in.
-
Apparently not good. Walk up crowd was terrible. Huge props to the students for sticking it out.
-
Great point. I think it's a great addition to coverage. Heck, send a text to get some discussion going. Hopefully lots of positives to talk about today.
-
Need really good walk up traffic tomorrow. And a fantastic student turnout. What are the odds of getting both?
-
I want the autobid. I'll be cheering for Montana to beat EWU and would like to see them get beat the next week as well by Cal Poly.

I'm sure BisonDan or others will be here shortly to discuss how important funding women's sports is in Fargo. I'd use purple so they could understand but have no idea how

Well said. people need to remember what a home field advantage the Al can be
