Things went bad in the third period last night. There were numerous factors, and numerous results. Would the game have been different if Finley hadn't been kicked out? We will never know. If we really want home ice for the playoffs then we're gonna have to play a solid 120 minutes of hockey. I don't think that we should be looking past Michigan Tech... We really need a sweep, and that might not be as easy as some people think. We really need the Badgers to step it up, but after this weekend, I'm not too sure that is gonna happen any time soon! Even if we sweep MTU what happens if WI doesn't beat SCSU? Let's just focus on our own team, our own game, and stay outta the box!!!

You must have checked either Yahoo or ESPN... both of which are wrong. Turns out that Minnesota beat UAA 4-3, sorry to spoil your night... but hey... at least the Sioux won!!!

I was at the North/Grafton game... I thought that it was a great game! (however I was cheering for North). I thought it seemed pretty fair both ways... although there were times that I was saying the ref needed to put his whistle away. Some impressive goaltending tonight... good luck to both teams in the rest of the tournament

If they played the Gophers of the Sioux, would they have to play two games? With OSU they are only playing one game. That way they can take Friday night to have team dinners in the Lambeau Field Atrium, sign autographs, and look at the Stanley Cup/Lombardi Trophies. I personally think that it is a very good idea. I agree that OSU was probably not the best team that they could have selected, but it will still be a good game. If I was at home in Wisconsin, I would definatly be going.

My cousins played lacrosse for their high school in Green Bay and really loved it. I know that the younger of the two was trying to look for a college with a team that he could play intercollegiatly on, but wasn't able to find one. I believe that he might still be playing club lacrosse at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I was never able to attend a game, but I've seen it on tv some... would be neat to watch, but travel costs to other schools would be HUGE for a start up sport

Can we say that perhaps Parise's numbers are better because he has played in more games... he was able to develope a routine, a grove, and get into it. When you play one or two games a month, you can't possible get into as good of a routine. With that said, we do have two (maybe three, I don't know) amazing goalies that could start on any D1 team. We should be glad that we can even have this debate. In the end, our opinion doesn't matter at all. We all have our own favorites no matter what the reason may be... but Hak is who is going to make the choice, and I doubt he's on here reading to see who we want to play...

I was wondering the same thing about the CC-SCSU series next week... SCSU is one point ahead of us, CC is one point behind us... that's tough!
