I don't know a whole lot about the hockey drafting process... seeing as Jones went undrafted, what does that do to his future? Does it mean that he's more likely to stay all four years? (or was it never predicted that he would leave early)
Here is a more detailed report of the GPA breakdown. Student Athletes
It goes sport by sport and season by season. It also lists the 29 students that had 4.0 for the entire year
They talked about doing that this offseason, however I think that there were a lot of objects from the season ticket holders that sit there and do not want to move. Personally, I love being at center ice.
I'll admit that I don't know a lot about giving our surveys, but 132 students (not to mention 37 percent being American Indian) doesn't exactly seem like a sample population of the student body. For this survey to be accurate at all, I would think that they would need to include a few hundred more students...
I'm not sure about the history of UND athletics, but I'd have to think that there have been some athletes on some of the teams that are Sioux. Wouldn't it be a good idea to have some of them give a statement on their opinion of the logo and the school environment?
Thanks for the post! It's always great to hear that we have support from "outsiders" as well. I am curious as to how a copy of his letter got on the Mississippi State forum...

The plan for student tickets isn't offical yet. However, I have heard that the students will not be moving and that they will remain where they have been.
I'm a little behind on contacting my representatives, but I finally did. I am from Wisconsin so I was able to send message to three people: Tammy Baldwin, Russ Feingold, and Herb Kohl.
Seeing as Herb Kohl is the one that built the Kohl Center in Madison (where the Badgers play) I will be interested to see what his response is.
Not sure if anyone cares, but I figure that would be an interesting article to share with everyone... it is Grand Forks news after all
Theater theft delays Da Vinci showing
I'm a big fan of Nascar, the Green Bay Packers, the Tour de France... pretty much any sports. Having come to North Dakota, I've had the opportunity to curl, it's a lot of fun! (and definatly harder than it looks)
Fabian aims for October return
I thought this would be a good article to share with everyone. Not only does it give us a look at to what is going on with Fabian's injury, but we also get to see some of our other recruits, the defense, and the goaltenders talked about...
