IIRC Wisconsin pulled off the Backdoor Bucky move and got into the big tournament after being left for dead outside the bubble. That's been a few years though. I want to say DU did it once as well.
Schmaltz and Zmolek get my players of the game for tonight. Jake got us going with that late goal in the first and Zmolek just continues to eat pucks. Hobie was the next man up tonight and did not disappoint. Let's curb stomp these mf'ers tomorrow and punch our ticket to St Paul!
The Midco Sports channel, shown on Xfinity in the Twin Cities, is showing Summit League Basketball. I'm guessing that the games will be shown on Midco 2; similar to last weekend in Omaha?

Playing at home has proven to be a distinct advantage for the Sioux this season. That being said, Miami is going to throw everything including the kitchen sink at UND Friday night. I look for a very aggressive forecheck from them. UND needs to make them pay if they try to pressure for a full 200 feet.
NCAA mens basketball currently lists 351 teams. Their tourney allows 68 teams which is just over 19%. Men's hockey allows 16 of it's 64 members into the tournament which is 25%. Unless a bunch more teams join, I don't see a need to expand the tournament.
