After posting 90+ videos on YouTube and SiouxSports I'm out of Sioux victories. It's been a lot of fun and I've enjoyed the feedback/comments from all you hockey diehards. After giving Harvard a real ass kicking, the Sioux take on defending champs Michigan State in the 1987 title game. Kind of a home game for Sparty at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit but I have a feeling our boys will prevail.

The Sioux, ranked number one for most of the season, take on the 'Smaht Kids' from Harvard in the 1987 national seminfinals (It was not called the Frozen Four yet) at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit.

The conditioning alone is night and day compared to the 'old days'. The guys now stay in shape year round and are constantly working on their game...their is no offseason anymore.

i get the $$$ part of moving to the Big Mistake, but leaving the top conference in the country would be quite an adjustment. I don't even care that Minnesota isn't in the same conference as UND any more. They moved and look what has happened to them; they can't sell out a home game against anyone. Gofer hockey; social distancing since 2013!

Hard to believe they use to sell some of the game worn jerseys at a table in the Union for about $50 apiece...I'm thinking late 90's timeframe?
